If you use paint shop pro I can help you.
Otherwise I can't.

Microsoft Photo editor, Neopaint, things like that. Also, mke sure that the pixels around the image, are the same color as the background, sometimes if you've been messing around with blending, or have resized the image, they change colors, and you can only have one transparent color methinks.

Photoshop = Use eraser tool. That or set a matte color, and fill the matte color in with the paint bucket to the place you want transparent.

In Paint Shop Pro make all the parts of the image you want transparent any colour that isn't in the actual graphic.

Then at the drop down menus it's colours > set palette transparecy.
Small window pops up click okay to close that window and it will bring up another window.
Now with that window up click on the part of the image you want transparent and that will make that part transparent. Make sure the dot is in the bottom option.
Click okay and your done.

Giffy is a very useful program, if you draw all your stuff in Paint, like me.

Search for it on google, or on these forums actually, I think I attatched it to a thread once.

Unhappy

Graal doesn't support semitransparency the way imaging wants it to work really. you either get it opaque or all semitransparent :S ah well. cant change that.

depends though how you make semitransparency in the image. Photoshop does a good job of it.
