Alchemy is incredibly easy

I just found out that the recipe for one of the pieces of armor that is supposed to be incredibly godly is:
-1 water
-1 arrow

Wow. That's amazing. You'd think if you put water in a cauldron it'd boil and the arrow would just sit there. I think it would be nice if some special items would require a bit more skill to create, not just throwing a bottle of water and arrow in there to make something. Maybe 3 mushrooms, a few hearts, hands from baddies, some gold nuggets and a couple iron bars would make something basic. Not one water and one arrow.

Actually, the way people get these great items is by throwing two random items in a cauldron and casting alchemy. The lower the intelligence of the player, the higher chance there is of finding something good (but there is also a higher chance of the cauldron exploding). I had asked Shrimp about it, and he told me he got his great armour from a key and slag.

I had a cauldron.
Dropped it in the shop and they stole it and gave me nothing for it.
Evil shop people.

I never got anything when I used alchemy on an arrow and a water.

Yeah, but, we were hoping these were reliable recipes. I just wasted perfectly good arrows, water, keys and slag trying these things.

It's the most .. slaggy?

Eh .. I still think that putting a few things in the cauldron and getting some amazing piece of armour doesn't make sense .. how do you get armour from two flowers?!

It's ALCHEMY. It's a mix of magic and chemistry, so really, I don't see how logic falls into place here. :P

It's like the fairy godmother turning a pumpking into a carriage... I guess. Go watch Dungeons and Dragons.

Tyhm has a spectacular aura about
The random items are too good, and should probably be taken off the random list...it's a balance thing. Alchemists should strive for HIGH int.
Also, all the random items need their formularies sold in the shops. They can be rare, they can be expensive, and they can be decursified...
