Island Sizes

I know it's too late to do anything about it now, and it's no use *****ing. But don't you think the kingdom islands are too big?

All a kingdom island really needs is the castle a npc town with npc shops and building land. Not these many towns and long strectehs between them. I liked it how it was on 2k2, much easier to make contact with people and population density was usually higher. My opinion.

I think they're too large. They should have just made 1 Kingdom Island the size of Main and stuck the kingdoms in various different places.

It takes too much effort to make a boat, go to one place, go to another... it just gets really annoying after traveling so far.

It's more than is neccassary. The sizes are made for a game with 10x as many players as Graal has now.

Even though it's too late to do anything about it, idealy, each island would have it's own map section like now, but it would be 10x smaller. With a castle in the middle, some scattered shops and mines and gambling halls and docks and lumber yards etc. and room to build hosues on.

It's perfect as it is right now because when new things are added there are enough buildings to add them into, plenty of building space, and making boats isn't that hard come on... I've made atleast 300 since i've played 2k2/GK. Takes 10 minutes to make one.

I think it's important to look to the future. A smaller world wouldn't be so cool if we had twice as many players - everyone would just complain about overcrowding.

Kaimetsu I find it very strange that the same person who was arguing that Graal will not have any more players and we have to think of ways to account for that is now saying you have to think into the future when there aree twice as many players.

1,033 levels isn't big

... because with a speed of 1.0... you can walk around the whole island in like... 20-30 mins.

I don't think I ever argued that. I think you're talking about the kingdoms thing with the NPC fighters? But I don't think I ever said that Graal would never have more players - just that we need to compensate for the currently small number of roleplayers. We can hardly redesign the whole overworld as soon as a few more players show up.
