Someone else may have thought of this before but....

I've noticed Graal Script shares a lot in common with Java, would it be possible to make Java also work on Graal in addition to GScript? :X

Some things in common, but a heck of a lot of differences. The two languages are pretty darn incompatible, much to my dismay. I like Java

I like Java too, that's why I was hoping it could possibly be made to work with Graal as well ish a nice language.

Could probably add stuff from java, like the polygon thing and such. That'd be nice. I remember something being said about gscript and object-oriented scripting, but I completely forgot everything about it... maybe Kai knows, or maybe it's not even that important, I dunno

People have asked Stefan for object-orientation features for a while but it's been deemed less important than other stuff and that's fair enough. It's only really particularly helpful for huge scripts anyway.

I don't like OOP (object-oriented-programming/problems). Normally the compiler/interpreter is doing stuff you can't really control and you are confused why your program doesn't work.
That's why I prefer to use C instead of C++ and I don't really like Java.
If necessary I can do stuff which is similiar to OOP in C, too. I don't need a compiler doing a part of the work in the wrong way.

Only if you don't know the language well :-/

And it's superuseful if you ever plan to work as part of a team.

OOP is great. I prefer Java over most languages it's fairly simple and effectively gets the job done.
