Do not flame me for this having been mentioned already, because I know it's a prominent problem. Someone PLEASE give me a reason to play 2k1, a GOOD one. I miss it. If I remember correctly, I was completely hooked on it when I first got my payed account. I didn't even play Classic at all until some time after.. ..but the problem is that now, there's nothing for me to work for. What, a bomy, a house? I'd love one of those (the bomy mostly), but they are impossible to get. The most money I've ever had was about 700, and now I have about 100. Making money is extremely difficult, and everything is so discreet on the server .. there are no real goals at all. Even if there are, they are all so well-hidden, that I can't find them! The best I've done is completed the bomy heart quest and the bomy moon quest. Hoorah for that .. look, my point is that I want to play 2k1, but I don't, because there is no real reason to. The only time I go on there anymore is when the 2k2 server is down, and right now it is down (has been for quite a while) .. and guess what? I'm just sitting on 2k2, 2k1 bores me so! This is saddening for me, because 2k1 has such potential. Oh- a recommendation, though .. the thing with invisible bodies and heads .. that's a bit, well, odd (I guess that can pass, eh?) .. but allowing Classic bodies is just creepy, because they don't fit right.. anyway! That's a bit off-topic. Hrm. Personally, I think one thing that might help the server a bit is a change in economy (I know this has been mentioned, nix the flaming) .. there are only two decent ways to make money (mining and pearling), and one indecent (buying things and overselling them), which doesn't even work well anymore, because there aren't much any people to even try and sell things to. Psh, the only things I can afford are hats and instruments, and hats are all out of stock every time I'm there, and people always buy instruments for way less than half what I payed for them, for some odd reason .. so I have no easy way of making money. There's not much for me to make goals for either .. what, hats? Whoop-dee-doo .. those are nice, but .. overpriced. Dolls? Oh, hoorah, honestly, I don't want dolls of people that just make me feel jealous (I hate the fact that on every server I'm nothing more than a "****") .. what else? Not much. Have I gone on enough? Don't know. Honestly, can anyone give me a reason to want to play here anymore? Because (do not criticize my grammar) in my mind, 2k2 surpasses 2k1 in most every way, despite the fact it is in alpha. Humph. By the way, don't any of you go giving me a lecture or some ub3r 1337 fl4m3 j0b. I don't need any of that "ur a *** so **** 2k1 rox u lamer" garbage .. I want decent responses, kay? Meh, sorry, I'm sort of on edge. 2k2 server has been down for over an hour now, I think.. SO! What's to happen with this?

That's kind of why I and Koni are aiming towards lots of revamping culminating in a reset. :|

there are currently 4 hat shops in stock:santerran,ug lake, bomboria and the one inside the place where u get "the purest water of all graal" on that path to get to harmonia from bomboria (north east.) pearl diving has also been improved with 3 different color pearls each with different values and a few events were added if u weren't around for a while (musket,swat was fixed etc)
erm...alot more but i don't think its too necessary to name everything

Reset = Good, especially since people can't just pearl dive 200g in an hour anymore, also, take away monsters being able to give you crafted gold, and make the sword 20 monster kills and 25 gralat or something.

Revamping = Bad, 2K1 has everything it needs to be successful post-reset, because all the bugs in farming etc, are gone.

Reset = Bad, because everything would be exactly the same as it is, except now everyone would be back to nothing and lose everything they once had. Gee, that really makes people want to play.

Reset + Revamping = Good, because not only will the economy get another chance, but there will be many new things to do, along with things actually being organized and the answer to that most important of questions... "What is the point of playing?"

I'm putting in like triple overtime to work on 2k1, 2k2, and my pw on the side. You're going to have to give 2k1 some time because for months, it's kind of been drifting around. It's going to take a while for me to organize the rebuild, but I think it won't take too long.

I can give you a hint as to what 2k1 revised will be like... think 2k1 in the first few months it started out, but with new stuff as well.

Why do people talk of a reset anymore It's not gonna happen unless Stefan says too. And I see Stefan's point. It would upset alot of Graalians. Look at it this way.
1)If we have a reset people will be mad quit and then there goes more of the G2k1 population. We've already lost a lot do to 2k2
2) Look at prices now day 800g for a hat!!!!! That can be fixed.(There are some higher and lower yes I know)
3) Money is hard to come by again instead of "Hey lets go to Under Ground Lake for a few hours get about 200 pearls and have 200 then start from there"
4) The economy is almost drained as it is. I was just siting in a auction and no one would buy a 500g Red Shogun because they all had no money or they said.
5) The staff now are doing alot of work to fix what we currectly have. Look at it these changes just cant happen over night.

What I believe ruined 2k1 is Stefan's Neglection. He relized that everyone was playing 2k2 neglected to update 2k1 or stock hats or anything people had time to earn money save up there Gralat and then there we go a lot of Gralat was in the economy. Another Thing I believe is that Pearl Diving values should be changed do to the state of the economy and for the newer people to 2k1. A "Newbie" will be down there for hours to come up with about 30 gralat that will get him almost no where to start for the prices of today. Thats like everything in the economy currently of now(real life here) being jacked up to over 500 dollars and keeping minium wage the same. It would be another depressen. These are my views I feel there no need to harass me for these dont believe in these feel free to state that but do not harass me for my beliefs.
