It was hard to say whether to put this in the scripting forum of Gani forum, but I choose here anyways.

Now, in the seashell_idle, seashell_open and seashell_close there is a white pearl, however, sometimes when pearl diving, the shell shows up empty, I'm assuming this is because pearl1.gif is assigned to PARAM1 in the gani.

Am I correct?

It could be that....or there could be 2 seperate ganis....but i would choose to make a 2 seperate images make 2 params one with the pearl in the shell and one with it out and use random() to check if it has a pearl or not. So, yes you may as well be right

NO. NO. JUST LOOK IN THE GANI. THE PEARL IS SPRITE 1. THERE IS AN ELEMENT IN THE GANI THAT REPRESENTS THE PEARL WHICH TAKES ITS SPRITE INDEX FROM PARAM1. IF PARAM1 EQUALS 1, IT GOES TO PEARL1.GIF.

Well, just to reveal a bit of something, we're going to be making more types of pearls soon, YAY FOR GOOGI =o But, yes, for the NPC, it displays pearl0.gif or something to make the pearl not appear, and somehow scripted in that to change the param if you grab a pearl.
