Kingdom money ideas

I think that every kingdom should start out with a castle and no boats, walls and cannons or anything else and the kingdoms have to make money by getting members to donate to the donation bank for the kingdom and they get like a 10% of the money bought from kingdom shops and they get like 1 plat for every 1 thing or something a player makes in the kingdom blacksmith shops or tailor and automatically deposited in the bank and the fund couldnt be takened out so the leaders cant steal it but they can touch the bank and they can select what stuff to use the money to build and they can build stuff like walls, boats, cannons, and stuff

Talking How about...

Something like this...

Each kingdom has a bank, players can make 1 account at the bank, make deposits, withdrawls. Like a real bank you can get interest with the more money you invest. When a kingdom needs money for say a cannon the leader or govenor goes to the bank to make a loan. The kingdom as a whole pays back the bank with tax money it collects from its citizens. Thus keeping the cycle going, and there is a valid reason for the bank to have interest. The kingdom should not be able to make more that 2 loans and there should be a upper limit on how much can be loaned. If the kindgom doesn't pay back its loan in the given date to be payed back. The bank suspends the kingdoms loaning ability and when it finally gets payed back there is a penalty of X days or X weeks before they can take out a loan again. If a citizen makes a loan and cannot pay it back they should have to do something. Slave labor (say at the mines or something), get throw in jail, be a frontline soldier in the army. Anyone else have ideas for that? I do think the bank manager should definatly be a NPC. I have no knowledge of scripting, level making, or anything so how hard would this be to implement?

What do you all think?

the only part i dont think would work is the part were citizen makes a loan because then people would just make a loan then leave the kingdom or stop playing or something

Hmmm federal banks have your money insured up to I think $500,000. So what about you can put as much money into the your bank account as you want but only the $500,000 is protected (convert it to graal you know). Now about ppl leaving the kingdom and joining another, these banks should be a chain bank (like mc donalds kinda ,ou know how there are like more mc donalds then ppl in the world :P) and the banks keep each other in touch as to who owes what to what kingdom. If you owe you cannot loan. Maybe it could even create few jobs because they didnt have computers back then so someone would have to take "bank logs" back and forth from bank to bank...

Ideas anyone?

They tried this on 2k1 and it didn't go too well....

And it's better if you have to get the materials to make the building instead of buying them

Maybe when we have the server reset we could. It does seem wise...
Follow me here everyone--

Think of it this way, You are a player, Leveling up, Also leveling up your kingdom by buying things, Such as armorments, Walls, Buildings--And such. I mean, It does seem like the most logical thing to do...As then kingdoms could be stronger than others, and there isn't a main reason why....Like, One had staff control...or Their sway in getting things.
I cant read your text -_-

no no no no.
kingdoms get a % off of every coin spent in all stores, resturants, and other places of service. dont tax the people directly, like go up to him and say i need 400 plat right now. just take it out through anything that costs money in the island..(also kingdoms will have adventurers and archeologists who go on treasure hunts to bring back to their kingdom's vault.
