Yet another Sorc thread

Spell damage.... yes I know before it was too high.... now its too low! I'm a level 5 Sorc with so-so stats and i have to totally empty out my sp to kill mushrooms with icestorm or burning hands... then i have to pull out my nail dagger and i get physical exp instead of magic... try to guess what a sorc without melee does... he sits there and waits....we are 2nd slowest in exp gain next to priests because of this... I think you should up the damage more on spells...higher the magic damage please... or up the damage you do if your higher level....

yea sure i know all you barbs and warriors are going to argue because you can just hack and slash things with yer high damage and hps...

Also adding on to

Sorc = low hps, low damage/slow/easily dodged spells, high costs for spells(money and sps), low armor, low weight limit due to strength penality, little or no chance to get adequate roll on the power stat.

The costs are screwwy at the moment. Spells will be MUCH cheaper soon enough. And mind you that spells have a LARGE area of effect.

Large snowstorm is MASSIVE and it lasts like 30 seconds lol

I was with stefan when he added the new ganis for burning hands.. he also said that it didn't do much damage now, but I don't know if he plans on changing it.

I just noticed something... you know the little individual ice things that fall? i believe the damage depends on the actual little ice things hitting... same with burning hands and the fires....

I guess the spells could do a little more damage. But not too much damage to kill a monster in 1 hit.

I think it kills warriors fast cuz they run around in it like nuts.... just imagine what happens when it rains and your driving a car...
