You are right, you were not the only one involved. But why shouldn't I point at you too... are you somehow less responsible then them? You are the only one involved who
did not get their account banned or a serious punishment. You got one day's suspension from Graal. The message being that GP's and other's in positions of power are above the rules all "normal" Graalians are held to. And this is an important thing to be aware of.

The Avelon thing was done while off the RC, thus, cannot be included in anything GP related since it had nothing to do with my actual duties of being a GP. I did admit it. I did apologize to the leaders and to the public on the old boards.
|
Just because you take off the RC/GP tag, doesn't mean you stop being a representative of Graal. The responsibility of being a GP or Admin is full time. You accept the position, you become a representative of Graal and it's reputation is made better or hurt by your actions. The two can not be seperated.
And as I
AM one of the leaders of Avelon, as well as close friends with a couple of the other leaders, I think I would know if you had actually apologized to the leaders. And as I said before, a real apology is not saying you're sorry in one sentance then saying you don't see what you did was so wrong in another. As a matter of fact, that's a good example of an insincere apology.

I "kind of" apologized? I _DID_ apologize. I even apologized on the GPCP in front of my co-workers, so please, give me more credit than "kind of."
|
Yes, you
kind of apologized because it was obvious that you were only doing it in an effort to appease people. See above about an incere apology. Kind of insulting to everyone's intelligence that you thought it would be accepted as the real thing, when you think about it.
And as for apologizing to your co-workers, how many of them were in Avelon? Trust me when I say that the majority of Avelon members DO NOT consider that you have ever sincerely apologized. Or indeed, that you are even sorry you did it, only that you were caught.

Nah, what Contego did to his own guild was his decision. It was his guild, he could do whatever he felt like with it. I had no say in it until Contego gave me the guild in October, thus, making me the new owner and leader of TAW. It THEN became my business and responsibility. What does Avelon have to do with my GP performance?
|
Exactly, TAW was Contego's guild, so in a way, he had a right to do what he did. You were not connected to Avelon in anyway, You had no right whatsoever to do what you did to Avelon. And as I recall, you posted about what a horrible thing it was that he had done to the guild and how much it had effected the members. This proved that you knew
exactly what you were doing when you deleted the Avelon members. And now you are planning to do the same thing to TAW again, even though you stated that TAW did not ever deserve that again. But I can understand, SM does not allow it's members to be in multiple guilds, and we all know that's your goal for the moment.
And as for how the deletion of Avelon's members has to do with your GP performance, see above where I remarked on the inability to remove oneself from one's publicly held office/position. It's really a simple concept to understand, Lycia, especially for someone who's already out of schooland presumably has a more complete education... If you can't comprehend it, perhaps you shouldn't be given anymore positions of power where your actions are representative of Graal.

The NBK thing has already been straightened out with both me and Bhala. I thought I had authorization to do it from Bhala, but there was a miscommunication between us both and it lead to this. Nothing major happened, nothing was majorly screwed with because I told Shayde to not do it and he also willingly put control of NBK back in Darkman's hands. So please, spare me on that detail.
|
I'm glad that's one screw-up where you were able to make amends in such a way that everyone was satisfied and happy.

The deal with SM, well, all I can say is this. I am not screwing with SM. I went into the guilds board, posted peacefully as a new member, I got attacked by a few members in the guild who had prior problems with me that didn't have anything to do with the guild, and they attacked me. Yes, I care about SM, yes, I want to be loyal to it, and I have been thus far. I don't even wear my JF and TAW tags anymore. I don't see your point. Most of the members that had problems with me don't anymore and now want me in the guild, so, please, get your facts straight.
|
I know exactly what happened on the board, I've been reading them for months. And I have some close friends in SM, so I'm pretty sure I do have my facts straight. You seem to have a habit of stubbornly seeing only what you want to. But still, I am surprised that you are surprised that you got attacked. I mean one of the topics there was "Lycia is fat bc" I mean, if they liked you so much, would that topic really have been there? And there were many more Lycia-bashing topics that were deleted. Does that really sound like most of the members wanted you there? It is repeatedly posted there that you are not wanted in the guild, you're a joke there... I can not figure out why you want to be a part of something that has no respect for you at all. Sounds like a self-esteem problem to me...
And I find it so commendable that you are willing to throw away both JF and TAW for the possibility of being in SM. A true indication of what you consider loyalty, I'd say.
Besides you can't be loyal to SM because
you're not in it. This seems to be another simple idea you're having a lot of trouble comprehending.
