Graal Classic Level Submissions Updated Again

Hi I have made some more changes to the Graal Classic level submission rules. Here they are, please check that everything you submit conforms with these rules:

Graal Classic Level Submission Rules

1/All levels must be submitted in .graal format.
2All Levels MUST be named "YOURGRAALNICKwhatever.graal".
Example: soulshotel1.graal
3/All your level names must be submitted in lower case and must include no special characters.
4/All levels must be put in one .ZIP archive. Please use no subdirectories in this ZIP and please name the ZIP "YOURGRAALNICKwhatever.zip".
5/If you plan to submit a house you can either:
A-Only make the interior to the house and then find a house outside that is already made and has a little yellow man who says “House available for rent”. All you have to do is look in your profile and take note of the level that it is in, and then state this level when submitting your house.
Example: Please put my house in the small house in uwavalon22.graal
B-If you want to design the outside of your house as well, then please make the outside entrance on a plain green field and please link to any epilogue aswell. All houses will be placed at centralized locations throughout Graal Classic.
6/If you have a whole set of outside levels, then include the name of the level(s) that are to warp to existing online levels. Include any extra specific warp details as well.
7/NPC scripts must:
-Not give away hearts for no reason.
-Not give away money for no reason.
-Not kill players for no reason.
8/All complex NPCs (ie. scripted baddies, weapons and other complex scripts) will have to be first approved. In your email, you should have a text file describing the NPC (eg. how it works, what it does, etc) and the actual script must also be contained in this text file. We will check the script(s) and tell you if it is approved or if any portions need fixing.
9/No GIF heads/shields/swords may be used in your NPC's. Any link to a GIF will mean all your levels will be refused.
10/Changing your sword/shield MAY NOT increase/decrease your sword/shield power. The NPC script should look like this:
sword : setsword gifname, players[0].swordpower
shield : setshield gifname, players[0].shieldpower
11/any given levels set cannot give more than 20 gelat. Otherwise a five room house will give a hundred gelat to bribe people to visit.
12/The following items cannot me added:
-Any fullhearts.
-The axe, the lizard sword, the golden sword, the mirror shield or the lizard shield.
-Gloves 2 and 3.
-The bow, fireball, fire blast, creature flame shot, or the nuke shot.
-Super or jolt bombs.
13/Any single level file should not exceed 60k and a graphic file should not exceed 20k.
14/All Graphics must be in PNG or MNG format instead of GIF.
15/All necessary Graphics must be included in the folder.
16/Levels cannot use the grass tileset indoors unless it is surrounded by a wall of some kind.
17/All warps should be on the lintel of the door, not the upper half. By this I mean
oooo - here
o__o - not here
o__o - certainly not here
____ - absolutely not here
18/Levels cannot include hats.
19/All warps should make the player appear right in front of the door, this may mean using a 0.5 coordinate such as 30.5 for example.
20/All bookcases which feature boks must have some sort of writing in them.
21/There may be no swearing of any kind in a Graal level, and no graphic language either.
22/Please check all signs for spelling mistakes.
23/This is the one month rule. This rule is new to the rules, when you submit a level it often takes more than one re-submission to get it right and it is very rare a level passes first time. Each re-submission takes time for us ot review. It is often the case that when one project is finally finished (which usually takes about 6 hours of checking for the average house) that the person then decides to do some updates for there house immediately after they have got it up. The one month rule is that when a submission is accepted and online, you cannot send in any updates for it for exactly one month. This is because each time you submit it takes time for us to review it and it will persuade you to get it right first time around.
If you re-submit your level, then please do not refer to any previous submissions in the fields of the form.
Example do not put “Same as before”.
I will work through 2 submissions a day so you can expect to wait for up to a week to receive a reply, but I will reply to you, and I will be working towards you.
Please state in your submission where you would like your house to be positioned around the Graal Classic world. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY STUPID POSITIONS such as “Well I would like to have my house in place of newbie house.” I am not going to name names, but someone really did say that.
