Suppose Mr. A and Mr. B begin to fight. Both A and B have very good items or weapons, and A eventually beats B. B drops something or loses exp when he died, so Mr. B doesn't want to save his character. He then logs off. Mr A has gained experience so he goes to bed and saves, not to mention that he has gotten this nifty item from Mr. B. But Mr. B did not save!

-People can easily become "punching bags" for an easy exp gain
-Items can be duped by one person not saving and another saving

Yes, exactly.
I was thinking, since you can just say 'restart' and pick a new character. That should be removed.
Say Person 1 and Person 2 get on.
Person 2 wants a lot of items.
Person 1 starts as let's say...a warrior.
Person 1 gets on with his starting items, drops them and gives it to person 2.
Person 1 then says 'restart' and repeats the process oh about 30 times. Person 2 will be all powerfull and have tons of scrolls and items.
Remove the usage of 'restart' so that others cannot cheat please.

I don't like the idea of bed saving

its to complex and ruins the whole point

So you are saying you want everyone to restart EVERYTIME they get on? Hell no, I don't.
Bed saving is cool.
Although it would be easier and better if the "/save" thing worked, it says "You have been saved" but nothing is really saved at all.

Oh so running around PKing with no fear of lossing any of your items at all because you SAVED at a bed?


Sorry but thers other ways to enhance the way you experiance playing

This is what I was thinking

Player dies
Player is sent to hell
Player has to go through randomized maze to get out of hell
Player finds himself in a bed (use beds for location saving)

Dying should be feared and tryed to be avoided



Saving is such a problem as I see it

People D/C, accidently logoff, computer crash all the time...I wouldn't want to lose everything because my computer crashed

Killing should be difficult, knockouts should be easy. You hit someone to 0 HP and they're unconcious, you execute someone and they have to create a "new" RP character who finds their former self's gear just lying there at their grave. ^_~
