Room for scammers and thieves?

I think graal should make scammers and thieves a PLAYABLE part in the game.

Its been about a year since I last went on g2k1, back before hats and everthing...I had a ton of fun because I would scam people. It was great, I would work hours on a single scam and get it perfect...

Well anyway, once more security arose I left the game because it got VERY boring without scamming...

Haven't played ever since then...

Dunno just a though, maybe it should be added back.

Yeah, they should make stealing in real life legal too. I mean it's damn fun if you aren't the victim

Yeah, it's kinda hard to scam and steal now =\
Can't even PK for money.
Gaining money by working is too slow and boring, it should be fun!

I agree with Soulblade. If you can take the time to think of a unique scam and people fall for it, who's really the victim? You only get scammed if you let yourself be, just don't take the risk and you won't have to pay the price.

Grim Squeaker:

I think the only place which should keep the "Buy only with confirmation" thing is the market place.
Mostly because placing lots of free apples and then one for 3000 gralats is not a well thought-through scam.

But you are taking a risk are you not? You know you have the chance of getting scammed, but you'll try your hand at a free apple anways. We lose the apples and eventually earn them back. Think of it like a big casino, errmmm...

Yes ok fine, but I prefer scamming to take some slight skill and thought, not just the ability to have a lot of apples and people stupid enough to fall for old tricks.

You can't teach an old dog a new trick.

That may be so, but we're not old dogs, we're (mostly) relatively young humans.
And young humans can learn new tricks.

Ouch... LOGIC BOMB! *wags his tail and barks*

Scamming is fun, I learned new ways. It kept the economy balanced for awhile.

I semi agree. I liked being able to think up a nice long scam process, that took effort, and not just simple trickery. I remember when I stole like 2 or 3k gralat from wetferret, all because he thought I was Merlin. Damn, that was great.

I remember that. You said you'd send him levels and crap, bwahahahahahaha. Wetferret came on the forums and spammed about it and then quit, good riddens.
