and, we're not sopposed to have anything taken from copyrighted material (such as Mario Bros.) on graal. i think thats the reason it hasn't gone back online

It looked different enough not to pose any copywrite conflicts I think. How can a shell with wings be copywrited, thats about the only core resemblance.

Even then, I see no reason why it would be an issue. There things on graal that are bending the rules further than that bomy did, I hope it is reuploaded.

The fact that there are other copyrighted images on the server does NOT mean that it's alright to add MORE copyrighted images to the server! I mean, crap, where's the logic in THAT?!?
If the threat of Graal getting sued exists, INCREASING the threat is still a BAD thing. Saying "Oh, but the threat existed before I got here" doesn't make it right!

Yes, there are still some Yoshi heads, probably. They will be removed. Probably the Mario Heads and Link Heads and Pikachu Heads floating around as well, they too will be removed. This does not mean you can sneak on a Trunks head or a copyrighted MIDI!

I mean, come on people, it's not that hard a concept!

Lomgren, it somewhat resembles a Goomba from Mario, BUT not much more than Ambient resembles a koopa.

A red shell and white wings is not enough to constitute copyright infringement if you ask me. I don't think obvious resemblances should be allowed on Graal but things like those two bomies are different enough that they do not pose a problem.

Things like the Zelda heads and DRZ heads are different. They are created specifically to look exactly like the inspiration, but the ambient bomy body was not and does not.

look at the ambient png file (or how ever you spell it). and look at a red flying koopa, then compare:
1. both have red shell with small plates (the little sections on the shell)
2. both have white wings
3. both shells have a while ring.lining on thir edges
4. both have orange feet

and that Khyle bomy looks nothing like a goomba to me, goombas are small brown mushrooms with feet and eys (and sometimes a mouth)

also, i agree with, Tyhm, just cuz theres already copyrighted material online, doesnt meant here should be more.

i just realized, from what i understand, Lycia made the bomy, so how would you know that it wasn't created to seem like a red flying koopa or something similar?

Ambient isn't a copyrighted image. If I had made it to completely resemble the Koopa Paratroopa, then I could understand it, but since I've changed a lot of its looks, shape and so forth, I don't see a possible copyright infringement.

I know a lot about copyrights. I run a graphics business.
