CONTROL NPC DOES THE SAME THING AN RC DOES BUT INGAME, ITS AN EXTENTION OF RC NOT A TOY YOU FRIGGN HOMOTOST@!*
Stop being so dammed high up in the clouds and start seeing the truth for what it is, not for what your sugar coated eyes wants to see.
God, I want to smack you.
You can do anything on control npc that you can do with rc, those who abuse it get it taken away, you can set individual rights with the control npc, you dont automaticly get every single ablity in the book! Those who abuse the npc control get it taken away plain and simple, its not a toy, its a tool to get the job done faster, and if you see someone abusing it tell kamuii or another staff online, don't assume its something to screw around with, you do enough of that sitting on 2k2 rc doing little or no work.
*huff*
Oh well :D
I think people overexsadurate on the whole corrupt topic on graal2001, though they have every right too, since its spawned by acutal actions of corruptness, witch needs to be delt with, but sometimes it turns into a full blown out salem witch trial type thing.
Also Pir, about putting so much restrictions on the staff, you do that no one will work, you squize soo hard that no one would want to work for a server like that, yeah staff npcs are bad, but thats when they're used on other players, not just having fun here and there, its okay to play around, as long as it doesn't detriment the playing quality of the players or use them.
As for the test level, think about it, really, thats not even neccacary, if a person is working on a server, and has NC and FTP, they better damm well get thier own private level to test things out online, as long as they're not doing bad things, evil npcs .ect, its perfectly fine, Its stupid to use one npc test level when you have more than 2 people working online testing things, they interfear with each other and end up overwriting each others work, So what if the'res an extra 5 levels for the hard working staff, as long as they work hard, they get to relax and play a bit, its not like they're getting paied, and working non stop like a drone isn't insentive enough to keep people on rc.
Limiting staff? Yeah, thats understandable if your staff is huge, and has inactive workers, but think about this, if you have a good management system wehre everyone is working productivly and effesintly, the more the marrier!
Its bad to make stupid "fixem uppers" when you don't think them all the way though.
Its not as simple as 1+1=solution, there's so many variables and proporties that influence the situation.
(1+1)x2-(-5+5)x=best solution, not infezeable wanted solution.
My two cents.
