he thinks there should be posting rules. Like... 250 posts to create a new thread. No one word replies. All replies have to contain words, not just quotes...

5 new threads is crazy. So if EVERYONE used them up, we'd have about 250 new threads a day. 15 replies is not enough. There should not be a limit on replies, but there should be a limit on threads. Moderators should deal with nothing replies though like quotes.

I think that if you quote someone, it wont let you go on to posting it unless you say at least 15 words.

Moderators should delete quote responses. And things where people answer a poll, then reply with their answer like "Yes", which makes no sense.

Yeah I spammed stupid things until I was like 150, then I just thought it was dumbdumb. Lycia will probably come back and post "ok" and "yes" or "okthx" on every thread now that Trueheat is beating her.

I think quote responces shouldnt be deleted because why bother typing if someone already said it? Just quote them on it.

They shouldn't have to be deleted. People should know not to do them, and should know that people CAN read things that are not in bold.

Who thinks we're doing it to get posts? We quote people because we think it's a good idea. People don't WANT to post just "Yes", but they don't want to post "Yes, because <insert long paragraph here>". If someone's already said it like they would have said it, they want to repeat it, henceforth quoting is perfectly acceptable.

How can people be voting no to this? Do you WANT the forum filled with spam, or no response quotes? Do you want random threads all over the board? Think about it. If they just set rules down about creating threads, someone with 0 posts will come along not KNOWING the rules, and make threads as the please. If there was a rule AND a set amount of posts needed, they could learn that it is against the rules to post random threads and that is why it is blocked off for a certain number of posts.
