Can someone tell me what the FX in SFX and GFX stands for? I know what the firsts letter is. S= Sound and G= Graphics and I would like if someone tells me what it is please. Thank you.

Actually, those two acronyms have completely different meainings. GFX is not an acronym per se, but is just supposed to sound like the word 'graphics'. SFX, on the other hand, means Sound Effects.
