Sanstrata Dead?!?!

Why did Sanstrata die? I heard something about it being hacked, but it is STILL offline!! Can you explain WHY? I know when we were on RC i told tweak someone was Sub7'ing him b/c he said he had a Matrix thing, so i'm guessing he was a retard and got his passes stolen!

What's sad is that server was actually played. Servers that just waste space and nobody plays (like atlantis.. never seen more than 1 person on there at a time). Should be eliminated.

Atlantis gets lost of people on it.. it all depends on where your from(I believe it's dutch/German) and there peak times are like 8:00-10:00 EST.. and there are like 50 people on it O.o....

Before you make statements about other servers population decide where there player base is located...

(I don't play on Atlantis.. but with my College's co-op I had last term I worked weird hours.. and noticed how Atlantis has as many as 70 people on it at times.. but usually averaged 40-50)

I play late-night on weekends. (In US) so I see most time periods. And I've never seen more than 2 people on Atlantis (after the p2p restrictions. before that maybe 12 at best)

Sanstrata was supposed to be shutdown longed time ago. I was LAT there, the server was good but it got hacked every week

Stefan shoould drop hints to owners about servers that NEVER get and people on! Also say if your underconstruction that they will be taken offline withing 1month if not up and then they can work on it and resubmit it if they wish it there not ready by a month.

That's funny. In the morning at 6 AM, I press F8 and see 50 people on Atlantis.

LAG sux0rz. But I guess if you're running multiple SMALL playerworlds with relatively small amounts of people, then you should be fine right? But wouldn't that mean that the RC's would be linked somehow? Or you could have an area to warp from one server to the next?! That would be sweet. But they would be on seperate ports.

This means you'd shut out RCs to staff on the other playerworlds, i dont like the idea, explain it better to me and maybe i can understand

Be prepared to back up what you say. It is not uncommon for Atlantis to have the most players when it is early in the morning in the United States. There is a 7 or so hour time difference, and mainly Germans, Austrians, etc. play on it. I have been monitoring the serverlists for a long time now to see how many people come on during which parts of the day, how P2P is affecting things, etc. Here's a screenshot from Wednesday, May 22, 2002 5:50:36 AM. (I have US Central time.)
