Thats not really true,
in the graal world steam engines may have been discovered earlier then gunpowder

Gunpowder does exist, but it is too volatile for use in small guns, they use it for cannons only

Dustari is based in medieval times and they didnt have airships in Medieval times, so get over it, airships are a bad idea.

It's not a super bad idea. I suppose it would work just like the boats in the Bomber river. They could move at the same speed (maybe even slower). If someone comes up to the ship, just make it drawoverplayer. It's not difficult at all.

it gives dustari a speical adventage...stick to the seas..where the pirates can get you

Each kingdom could be given their own advantages theoretically. Dustari-airships, Zormites could have control of the water (underwater... similar to the way Classic's Zorbi ring works), Pirates-Pirate ships, etc.

What about what I told you? I told you that having airships wouldn't make sense, because Dustari is a medieval kingdom, and medieval is a period of time. In Medieval times they did not have airships. You can give anything to Dustari because it is based in the Graalian world,but Dustari is a medieval kingdom, so you cannot give Dustari airships.

With draw over player it would be way to laggy,
here is how i thing it should be...
the airships would be in special air levels which are directly "above" the regular levels,
they would be scripted so that on the map you would show up on the same part of the map that the sky is above..
now what the actual person on the ship would see would be the ship.. duh... and instead of just a bluew backround they would be seeing a zoomed out version of the level they are above,
this might also be accomplished using the thing that makes the level zoom out, since the set shape thing for boats etc makes them almost like a different level,
it could be manipulated so that the boat and everyhting within that "setshape level" wasnt zoomed out,
but everything in the regular level was zoomed out.
the people on the ship would see the zoomed out people on the level below, but the people in the level below would see nothing but a shadow of the ship above. This is much more appropriate then them acutally seeing the ship,
because the ship is up in the sky, not paralel to them..
also it would be much much more appropriate if the airship was just a blimp, like the orkish or human blimp in Warcraft 2

because eventually everyone would have the technology..
but anyway i dont think its fair for them to have it unless there is like a long time of roleplaying of research and if they can make it so that using already made stuff (like stuff in the graal world) and ddifferent principles, that they could build it

it would be cool to have a helecoter or graal air ships like you can lower and raise your altitude and graal would detect if your altitude is high enough off the ground to go over different tiles...
and you could have a little gfx spinning around and around and press d to use more gas

It doesn't give us an advantage. Where there is a weapon there is one that can counter it. Anti Air and so on and so forth

dude, within 10 minutes, one of those ships would be hi-jacked and stolen by any of the over kingdoms

they would be cooler if they didnt have cannons, though. The ships would be magically powered, requiring an artifact of great power to be used to power it. Maybe they would drop bombs and shoot arrows off the side

If you didn't know this before, dustari used to be (Medieval) so we have to go by Medieval times.

If you didn't know this before, magic is a basic part of RP Graal. Aerodynamically, the airship is possible. Mechaniclly, in OUR world's medieval times, it would not have been possible. With the magic present in the Graal RP world, it is possible.
