Checking for tiles

I was wondering if someone could show me how to check for tiles.. board[index] dosnt seem to work right..

tiles[x,y]

this will tell u the number of the tile

Or board[x+y*64], which is the more traditional board array. Both serve the same function anyway.

but with board you can change the tiles what tiles[x,y] can't do

um for me this only works with board....

Probably because you have to do a updateboard x,y,width,height; command on the place you changed...

o yeah, lol, i forgot that u had to update the board before you could see the changes, :P
