I am tryin to remove someone from my guild, on my admin account, and it
says they are equal or higher in rank

You still have not made yourself any clearer. Admin of the server? The GPs? Guilds Admin? FAQ Admin? Or the guild owner?

I think he's guild owner, because otherwise it's just FTP anyway, and most servers guild managing NPCs are too simple too check for how high/low rank is.
