Angry Ok whats up with the spike in prices

Can someone please tell me what the reason is for the insane price change

if u get 3 months it will end up costing u 6 dollars a month
$19 usa for 3 months
but if u get 12 months its 3.25
$39 usa for 12 months

cant u at least have 3 months for around 4 dollars a month thats a huge differents and why did stefan jump up from having the 2 dollars a month

he could at least went up to 3 instead of what he has now

at least put up another good p2p server besides graal 2k1

I personally think the price hike was an awful idea, but I'm sure they had good reason for it.
What I don't understand is why they couldn't run with the prices the same as last year; it sounded like they were enough to sustain hosting the servers.

all those stupid people who use fake ccs ruin it cause the bank charges the Graal people's still, thus Graal has to get more money to keep making profit

There's no evidence to support this considering the price+++ was because of credit card fraud things and such.

[edit]
The cause. Did you mean "their doing this causes more cc fraud?[/edit]

well, we alreayd know that MANY people have accounts made with a fake credit cards, and when Graal tries to cash in on it, they get a penalty that they have to pay and thus have to raise the prices so that they could afford to maintain a profit

That's called marketing. Nearly everything which is based on this system when buying it works along these lines.

Okay, Graal is still cheaper then most online games, and if you go to the other more-expensive online games they are full of security holes and hackers and bullshit.

They also have lots to do.

Graal is cheaper but it seems there is less to do for pay to play one quality player world G2k1 which is just boring alot of people after the same stuff over and over. Londeroth a joke only 5 levels(how did that get put up any ways with just 5 levels?) Andor good but they're still working on stuff last I was there not a whole lot to do yet. Providence is under major reconstruction so what does that leave us? I mean one would think they would wait until after the release of 2k2 to raise the price...

The reason prices rose was because Graal2002 came out, if you read a post by Stefan or Unixmad (I forgot which one) they stated that right when Graal2002 is coming out, prices will rise I just don't know the reason and it maybe just because Graal2002 is coming out (well that was the preview which didn't last that long).

It's not that much, Graal is very cheap for an online game. I don't have a problem with paying $39, but since the only method of payment is PayPal, I doubt that I'll be able to re-upgrade again.
