For the level editor, they should make a rotate option so you can have more variety of tiles!

There are some tiles which dont have the proper tiles needed to make them and if I could just rotate some of these I would be much better at LAT

That's a good idea then houses wouldn't have to all face south.
Maybe then scripts could rotate a set of tiles. That would make a kickass quest like you have to shut down a machine so you can enter a house that the machine constantly rotates.

Making levels is already easier than a 4 piece jigsaw puzzle, how much easier can it get?

Before you go any further, I want you to take a screenshot of a level with everything the current boring 1 way. Then go into your graphics editor and rotate the houses individually so that it's all cool like how you want it. Let me know when the lack of perspective makes your head explode so we can get back to what we were doing. =_=

Tyhm's right. It does look like butt. Besides, this has been posted about like 1000000 times already, it's not going to happen. Besides that, graal would be 16 times laggier
(4 directions+ 4 checks in each direction [8]+ 4 directions to display correcty=16).

Can you imagine classic? No one would move.

true, true...but I am doubting you would use it on things that perspective dependant (like houses), and things that are more overhead (like bushes)
