To my knowledge, it is either not working, or causing bugs. Bad bugs that include different amount of hearts clientside than serverside.

Seems it's just not hideimg-ing. Showimgs always disappear when you get hit, the reason you don't usually notice is that they're most often reshown every frame anyway.
