I think i used PayPal when i upgraded my account almost a year ago. I have about 96 days left on my account. Also Unixmad and Stefan, couldent you guys have changed the prices WHEN graal2002 came out?
Kinda dumb to raise the prices just before Graal2002 comes out. Also 40 bucks does sound a little steep for a game. And im sorry for the Canadians on them paying a higher price. But thats currency difference for ya. Anyway i my parents dont care what i get as long as its my money. Just right now in a couple of hours im going to go buy PS2 . So you might want to lower the prices back to the origional costs and wait till Graal2002 to raise the prices OR have different pricing for Graal2002. Have like a second upgrade ability. You have the Graal2001 upgrade which costs the regular pricing, then you have the Graal2002 upgrade which costs the prices right now for Graal2001.
And lastly i like to congrats on Unixmad for his excellent english abilites, you are learning really fast i see. Must be better to type in english then speak it.

Alright, Konidias. You've convinced me. I have halted the new overworld project (it was only a few days since it had started), and we will update the current one with stuff. Please stop saying that Andor should be taken down, I have staff that really do work hard to make it better.

Jinx, if you read this post, contact me please.

I'm not sure if anyone took the time to check, but 40 for a year is not that much when broken down to a monthly rate. $3.25 USD a month is what it would be...the price has really only been increased by 1 dollar...it's just that cumalitive total that gives you the wrong impression

But what Unixmad has said so far is right on target. As for PayPal...I signed up...I just have yet to use it :x

use egold
direct money transfer from 1 egold account to another
and whenever you feel like you can withdraw the money and have the check for the amount you want sent to you (assuming you have that much in your acc) very nice secure way to do it

After seeing all of the points made here, i now realize how much i do indeed like Graal. I would have to agree with Konidias the most right now, If something worth re-upgrading comes along, like a new great playerworld ( hint hin koni ) or some major updates, or even a soon release of Graal 2002, then i in fact would re-upgrade.

And yes, i would suggest that the GO Staff find a new service of payment. PayPal is no winner, and alot of online people i know do not like to use it. I know i don't like to.

Um, no you weren't ripped off. 3/6 month accounts will cost you more yearly than a full year account...you should know that. Before I had first paid for the upgrade, I checked to see which would be best and a full year was the best choice because through monthly payments, it was the least.

I have a p2p account but like to post on Boozys so he gets the posting. hehehehe
I have tried out other games that cost alot more and I didnt like them. Graal is constantly evolving and changing. I think it is a good deal even for us Canadians.
The one problem I see with the p2p is that we should be getting good service for our money. My p2p account is the leader of a guild and so I expect that the guild problems: not being able to make tags and being locked out of public notes should be fixed. Most guilds are now p2p accounts and we should get that extra benefit for our money. Is this problem going to be fixed now that we have to pay the extra. I think it is not too much to ask.

Compare whith graal where you play 3 hours/day it mean you play minimum 40 hours/ months (400 hours/year) and you don't want to pay 40$ for a game where you put 100X more of your time than on the Cdrom.

When you pay for graal you support a small team of guys that try to make your time more fun, when you pay for cdrom it mostly go on the pocket of very big company like Microsoft that really don't mind about you, they just think that if they do good graphics and a good marketing you will be stupid enough to buy the product and put on bench after a few hours.
