Soul Blade: Murasamune Future Tiles
I was working on the intro, which starts in the future, so I decided to work on the future tileset.
Heres the first level of the intro, it shows future tiles, and how they will be used with lights.

All the lights, btw, are controled by one NPC. It detects what tiles are which, then shows an image and set its effect if it equals that tile. This is to make it possible to edit the level without tons of lights, and reduces lag.

Thats Ghost Pirates project for one, and for 2, Murasamune's story doesn't take place in the future for the most part...though the future will be a big part.

There will be a future world, mostly for the RPing side of Murasamune though. The middle ages world, the main world basicly, will have most of the story in it. Thats probably where most RPers will be as well, but the future will always be available if they get far enough into the story to get there...

But, my point. It is not like Graal 2230 where its all future, future is a small part in Murasamune...well big story wise, but small for time spent there (if not RPer).

Very nice job.. only gripe is that the gray floor tiles seem a bit repetitive and a bit out of place.. but they still look good.

Those are <insert good word here>!

They do remind me an aweful lot of a particular part in SoM and from the future part in Chrono Trigger.

indeed they look nice =)
but are you gonna make a new body and stuff?
'cause i don't see a huge body3.png with head 634.png standing in that world
the tileset seems smaller to me then the normal tileset

Lol...this is Murasamune. We already have the new body. I recolored the body, and since it looked kinda like a military camo body, it fits right in. I made it a urban camo body...made a new head as well, for the General in this intro.

I'm working on the intro right now, for now I'm gonna use some music from Chrono Trigger for it, until we get some of our own made up...hehe though I'd let you know.

Are those middle pillars showimg or something like that? Because it wouldn't be right if you get blocked from the part of the pillar that is suppose to be above ground.

As for the graphics, they are great

This level they are, simply because by the time players get this far in the game, I would have already replaced it with the NPC ones.

For now, this is just part of the beginning intro, no players will have control basicly so it doesn't matter....

Why play Murasamune when you can play Crono Trigger?
Doesn't appear to be much of a diffrence with the CT tiles,
music, and probably the same story line...

Nice job at thinking up 'original' ideas.

how to you know what music it will have?
how do you know it will even have music?
how do you know only the tiles thy have showed look "similar" to CT?
how to you know there NPCs arnt original?
how do you know the other tiles in the tileset look like CT?
who said the tileset was finished?
