you make your weapons to big though =/. Try making them just a bit smaller, and don't do that black outline...

Day/Night with Lantern...you may say it makes no difference, but compare. It does exactly what I want, and what I want is simple to make it so you know where you are going, but can't see anything out of the lantern radious...this makes you VERY vanurable to attack by those who wonder the night, such as assasins...although they won't be able to see well either, they will be able to see you nicely...

Try raising the brightness of you screen, it is very dark if your brightness is low...nothing I can do about that either =/ wish there was some way to change that, but there isn't...

And to Toran, this idea has already been revealed, so might as well finish showing it...don't worry, there are many, many things we haven't showed

Ok, that tree looks much better eithout the blue undershade. Also, justa bit too dark, that would be quite a large pain walking in that for many hours =\

Ok, well, a day is 24 minutes our time...that darkness lasts about 7 or 8 hours, which is 7 ot 8 minutes our time...so no, people won't be walking in it for long. Thats how it is simply for criminals to do crimes, and skillfully if they do it in 7 minutes, or assasins to assasinate so fast there target doesn't know what hit them....

an hour should be a day, that would make more sense, so half hours would divide day and night... (thinks)..... and somehow we can work in hours and stuff, but yeah, wutever.....

All the systems are being wrapped up, soon (by the end of the week) it will be done. We just need the gui and a few other things, mostly small things...everyhting system wise is near the end. Levels and story will be the fun part....although, with the end of system NPCs, that is the end of screenshots for you guys (unless I feel I should show new tiles) because everything else will be for you to discover. Though, we will have a strategy guide to tell newbies about things for the beginnings (well, for the story at least) That will probably be the only other area I will show screens of...

Heh...hopefully not when you review it...

Just try to describe it without describing stuff I haven't posted here...I want everything to be a surprise, I don't want this to be just another PW, I want it to be Murasamune...before I go on babbling, I will get to the point. Try to be general, describe quality instead of precise NPCs or features...get what I mean? Wow...wow...thats all I can say. I finished the assigning, and in other words, the whole menu system. That was the final hard NPC. Everything will now be easy. I am SHOCKED at how perfectly this NPC works...exactly the way I wanted it to, and better then that. I can't wait to show everyone it...no, no screens yet. Screens won't do justice to what the system is capable of...

Alright, we have the gui gfx, and everyhting planned...expect the gui by the end of today, or some time tommorrow. That will be basicly the last screen I show...at least, until online. The gui graphics are better then I expected, made by W-Dragoon. I expected alot, but this is just to good...

am I like the only one noticing it? The gfx are nice and all, but they look slopy, sorta gritty, and the swamp tiles don't have edges and look nasty, the body perspective compared with the ground looks sorta, like he is doing some sort of limbo, hard to explain, and the flowers look sorta bad with the grass, its good, but this is constructive critisisem. The trees and house are very very good, but I can just see tile placement and other gfx glitches along the line for some reson...

added: I think its just bad tile placement, now that I look at it again.

Woah there smart guy, Murasamune has been rejected in the past. A 1:4 ratio I think...(1 being rejects, 4 being passes)

Bad tile placement, that is a test level I put together in a few minutes...and please don't call them things like swamp tiles...They are tall grass

As for the rest of the problems, I just don't see them. But don't judge level quality through this level, as I said, it is only a test level.

holy **** i know what your feeling....one time i spent 3 hours making a level and graal crashed....but im sure you worked MUCH longer on those NPCs

Because he knew he had nothing to show so he made up some lie.. I mean seriously, who works on something for that long and then it all just gets erased? I have never had that happen where EVERYTHING got erased.. I mean why would he even be upset about it? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to remake if he made it once before.

If you didn't make backups or save, then I laugh at you, because by now you should know to save stuff and back it up, especially important things like that.

But anyone can get on here, show a half done "crappily put together" tileset, brag for posts and posts about how great his stuff is coming, and then say "oh no it got wiped! i'm angry!"

Hey genius, my keyword was NPCs. I have backups, but I only backup about once a week. Graal overwrote my level with NPCs with a 0 byte level, right now I am restoring my backups and going back to what it was before. All my graphics and ganis are still fine, and obviously will never get erased...I have many back ups of those.
