"Stretch to fit command"

Graal needs a "stretch to fit command" which should allow an image to be stretched across the screen. Since this is currently impossibly, I am asking this...although I have ideas.

really just need a command to resize vertically and horizontally independantly...then you could make a 'stretch to fit' command on your own, and the commands would be more versatile.

Since Graal uses DirectDraw7, just make the source rectangle the size of the screen and call the BLT command, or whatever it is in Delphi.

I do believe it is the same...unless using DX8, they removed direct draw and there is a different technique to doing it, I think it is something like making a basic shape and using tiles or something to cover it, exactly like 3d models and bmps for the material...

Actually, I would LOVE some commands to stretch graphics now that I think of it.

Graal is programmed in DirectX7. DirectDraw7 and Direct3D. I don't know which Direct3D mode, though, because there are two different modes. Stretching Graphics would be really cool. Also adding the DELETE key to the list of keydowns. Stefan could remove the M and P key from Keydown because they are useless and add the DELETE key!

How is it usefull? P is to pause, and M is to display the map. What use could you do with these keys? Also, the keydown event happens AFTER the map shows up or whatnot. Add DELETE key!

Well, DELETE would also be usefull. That way if people program their own Q system, DELETE could be the delete weapon thingy.

Well, I, for example, am always finding new uses for some commands. I used timeout in something other than a loop the other day, and the way I used it seemed awkward but worked out really well.

P I use regularly, and I haven't used M yet, but I'm sure I could find a use if I had to.

M key plain out stinks. The keydown script happens AFTER you use the map. Maybe not even until you stop looking at the map. DELETE KEY!!!

I was thinking of using P for something...like a anti-pause feature where when you press P you get warped to a start area, or it shows a gani for you being paused...but M I see no use for, unless it was possible to disable to def map.

Why should it be deleted just because you don't like it?

I think three more keys should be added that aren't automatically bound to something, like z, x and c! That would rock pants!

M could be used for an event.
Let's say you're playing on a SP world, then you press m, and when you comeback, theives have captured you while you weren't looking.
