New Auction Idea

Ladies and Gentleman....er....

I had an idea for a new Auction house. It wouldnt be like the one we have, but more like the market place. SO here is my idea.

A building with stands inside of it that a player can buy. They player can place up to 3 items on the stand to be auctioned. They have to rent the stands of course. Then they can set the starting price and stuff. After that, once they say start auction, they cant change the items or anything with the stand. They can also set the time the auction lasts for (10 minutes, 5 minutes, etc)

sounds okay, but what would be the point?
we have a market place already, and people seem to be satisfied with that...

prices can sometimes be negotiated there, too.

no it isnt, you can get that program that causes a memory dump when trading, i hate that thing so i spent awhile finding a "vaccine for it"

I like this idea. you could action your own bomy or anything and instead of having to keep taking the item off and putting it back up people can just say the price.

This way we dont have to wait for an auctioneer to get online. We can also set it to the standards we want. They can't be editted after the auction has started so you can't take the items down.

There would be a way to scam proof it, if you mean placing one item over another. That seriously wouldnt be hard to fix.

Another idea: We could also add on a feature that would make the buyer confirm the bid so nothing pointless or uneeded is bid.

you would need to make it so the items can be taken down so that if it doesnt get what the owner wants or the owner chages his/her mind they can remove it
