Sorry, but some of us require more advanced universal tools for better things. Not everything I make is going to be 2 dimensional Graal styled images.

And for 3D things I can make a 3d model in milkshape 3d or 3ds max (which has so many features it gets confusing...)

PSP is only good to touch up on gfx made in paint, and if you want to give it a more 3d look you can.

Using those tools I can hardly call skill...and if you believe that, then I can't imagine the job you would do without them.

PSP has better zoom...and moreover, you can use a simple one-pixel painting tool in psp with a sixteen color pallete and get a MS Paintbrush like product, though why you wouldn't want to use all tools available and good shading baffles me.

Using airbrush isn't like Frontpage (which generates an inefficient website in something passable as working HTML, not worth the trouble methinks)...doesn't cause inefficiency, and moreover creates good effects impossible without using it (unless you want to spend hours on one darn sprite when you COULD do a whole set if you're good). I can't imagine the good job that you would do if you used these tools, however, if you have no desire to it's your loss. And I ask you...Have you ever taken a lineart and realistically colored it in with Microsoft Paintbrush? Probably not, since you'd most likely consider an airbrush, much less simulated darkroom techniques like burn and dodge, to be cowardly and unskilled...what might you think of floodfill? bobby owns you.... anyway, yes, PSP does involve skill... I hate how you think ur hip cuz you make ur gfx in paint, and you make fun of people who use psp. you just don't know how to use psp, and it seems like it's a load of bull **** and baby tools, but it isn't... it has a lot of powerful tools, wich save time for those of us who have lives and don't like to sit there and detail every little pixel......

He insulted my graphic editor, it's a question of honor, and I did step down after proving my point. Moreover, nothing can be taken too seriously except a game (in which being to serious can cause you to get "the yips" and mess up). I don't take anything except actual, bona fide jokes lightly, and he didn't look to be joking. I'm leaving this thread forever, have a good day.

EDIT ADDITION: Blobby? I've seen those in various people signatures, they're not exactly the bomies or something, though they aspire to be. More like the bopot alone with everything else removed, then painted one shade of blue and with teeth stuck on.

I agree PSP does require some skill because your using differnt elements to drawing that Paint doesnt have. PSP is good for non-graal graphics and other things but paint is really basic and works well with Graal.

PSP also saves time when having to do tedious things that would take hours in paint.

I like both programs.

I like both programs.

I use Microangelo for Graal stuff.. and then I use PSP for "rearranging", layering, and composing. -- since Microangelo isn't so userfriendly with larger images, colors compressions, or anything else advanced.

Before I even knew anything about computers, I downloaded Microangelo98.. 2 months later I found Graal and began my journey as not only a newbie to the game, but also to computers in general.

That is why everything I do on here is so Graal oriented.. =/

I taught myself to do things...... which is also why anything I do is not stolen or similar to anything else -- except for the Butak Bird and, I think, one more thing......... they were made in graphic rallies as a replacement to other things (Kirath first ripped the bird from Zelda3.. and, without telling me, I remade his version into mine and came up with what you can see today).
