take the sword up to the next lvl
and take my shield idea with it
but i think for them the hp would need to be changed completly
from hearts to maybe like a Final Fantasy type dmg system

If graal is changed too much I bet you alot of people would stop playing. Everyone was pissed when ap was added in 1.41

this is the way id like to see dmg done in the future
maybe not Graal 2001 thats nice the way it is
but like NW or an up and coming server
like say the person gets 500hp to start with

lvl 1 sword can take dmg between 20 and 50 hp from the player
like a random dmg value

lvl 2 sword like 50 - 80
etc etc
and if the shield wep is being used the chance for a really hig dmg blow like 50 dmg for lvl 1 sword would be reduced

I think babmoo sticks should be used for RP battles. Maybe at the start of an RP battle an ET or admin can say "reset exp" and everyone's experience goes to 10.00. As you battle, you will lose and gain EXP and when you go below 3.00 EXP you are removed from the RP battle

make a spar zone with my idea in my last post about the hp
see how people like that
and if the majority of people like it then maybe merge it more and more into the actual game
you dont want to just throw in a major change like that
just ease it in

You are sent into a heaven
and I don't wanna get into all the details lets just say RP System

The Sticks are Cool I think they are Fine as is. Except for EXP it shouldnt go down by being it and should be used for something like Learning new attacks!

Awesome idea! Accept the thing is... then people will use one of their accounts intentionally as a experience-upping doll.
As in they will log on both their accounts, and use one to beat the shiznit out of the other with the bamboo stick just to get exp. And I'm sure they would be willing to have people pay just to gain EXP that way.

Hmm true there would be people like that. But if we did it that way perhaps the EXP can be gained diffrently like. Classes in a Dojo that take time and a small deal of money. and advanced classes take more time/money

that game is sooo cool,
and if someone hits another person in the legs they fall down and crawl around, and its soo funny cus you think your disadvantages but its actually hard for the other person to hit you cus all their swings go over you or just hit your sword...
and then you do some combo and you jump up and swing the sword over your head and slice the other person in half and then you laugh and laugh and laugh, and put down your game controller and laugh some more!

Yeah, more defensive moves should be added, also you should be invincible to all weapons when your spinning it.

I think there should be different type of weapons( I know it was already said) Like a lance/spear/pike. ,etc. It doesn't have to neccesarily(sp?) hurt people, but mabye have some type of way to tell if you are defeated. Like running out of strength or stamina.

These different weapons should all have different attributes. Some slower, stronger, faster, weaker, longer, shorter, and so on.

It cant be bamboo points because if new types of weapons are used it wouldn't make sense. Unless there was a different set of points for each weapon.

dunno if someone already posted this but you could make it so when you twirl the stick you build up on power. But if u twirl it too long then u get out of breath.

Yes I think we need things like:
- power (alternative power, you don't die but
are thrown out of sparring arenas or so)
- experience (similar to the current thing but starts at 0 and
doesn't fall so fast)
- attack power (if you rotate the stick it is like charging and if you
do the 'stab' then its stronger)

only down side to bamboo is when you use it its soo slow,
thats why on classic everyone fought with a sword,
rarely a mace or trident,
cus triedent and mace were slow,
and had no advantages,
if you could fight approximatly as fast with your bamboo then you could with your sword it would pobly be cool

Trident worked wonders for laggy people. Evil Dante came out ahead in a lot of PK fests thanks to it.
