Simple. You use the arrow keys to move the cursor between items. Press D to buy an item, press S to exit out of the transaction.

if so how do you know what one you have selected

Notice the gal saying stuff?

That's how.

And the menu IS the swords. Notice the little blue thing beside one of them? That's the cursor. The swords and cursor only appear when you talk to the gal, though.

actually.. the one in SOM scrolls in a circle like the farming basket on Faheria =P

I made an awesome trading system. Too bad it is kinda messed up, though. See, you can specify money to trade, and add up to 5 items to your trade list. Then, you do some stuff and it trades. Needs npcserver, though.
