This is the new Bravo. The first one is the actual map, untouched, and the other one is a location of where things will go.

ARG! Another Level Generated World...What happen with doing PWs the old fashion way! In my opinion when a player world is done by hand it is twice as good as if it was level generatored because when it is level generated you can run into bugs and everyother thing, but by hand you can have it the way you wanted it to look!

You should just use the old, familiar levels, and pretty them up.

It can be frustrating doing by hand....especially level linking >.< and making sure things are aligned properly.

Btw, have you looked at my map? I know the outer rim is empty, but that is for the kingdoms. More or less, focus on the center piece.

It is one thing to use Level Gen and not reshape the land some, however, if you work at it just right, reshape the land properly, and add in some nice tiling, you can make it look like it was done by hand

When I made MY playerworld I used level generator, but with a blank map. I just used it so i didn't have to link the 350+ outside levels. I did the terrain and everything 100% by myself (well with help from my staff).

Thats what almost all non p2p servers are. And with level gen no one likes it

Level generator is almost nessicary, unless you really want to link them all by hand.

I like the Level Generator. See, you level generate the levels and go back and painstakingly fill the levels up with something, whether it be a tree or some grass, or a town. I think of the Level Generator as a Template. You first lay down the template for your work, and then begin filling it up and fine-tuning it.

My Stupid-Sense (Sp?) is picking something up. With LG you still have blank levels >.< and you gotta fill them all up, therefore doing them "hand-made"

i think all lvls should be made by hand
maybe the outline of the island made by lvl gen but no more
all detail should be done by hand
like trees, swamp
it should all be done by hand
it WILL and DOES look a lot better

Can not anyone that works on a p2p server make a level by hand? Level by level! Thats why I hate all the p2p servers so much its all level generated not one of them can make a good level from scratch.

Thak is completly right, Level Gen should be used as a Template, that is what i did. I also spend like 30 mins on each level to make sure its tiled perfectly.

Graal 2001 was level generated, Faheria was level generated. They are the best servers...so you are not right. Level generater helps a whole lot.

They aren't the best servers. At least not Faheria. Its the best p2p server but almost all the levels have no detail.

i don't know about bravo online but i do know that piecing a level tile by tile is hard but i do it anyway. that way its something i can say "I" made something i did. not some automated level maker with a few adjustments by me. i mean yeah it takes a long time with the npc scripting and all but its really worth it in the end and you KNOW the level so if any errors appear you can fix it easier. much easier maintance. and you can add little hidden things just for fun

That is the best way IMO. Get your basic outline done, then plot out where you will add certain towns, events, buildings, and detail each and every level painstakingly

One section with trees...wait a small patch I see...TWO! How will the Bravoian people get their supply of oxygen?

Typical newbie playerworld. "hey! a new color i can use to generate stuff. i'll use it here. another...hey i'll use that right here." 5 minutes later... "okay! done!" With 6 seperated sections of different terrain. (i.e: your swamp, one place. trees, one place.)

LoL You retard do you not realise how little space bravo takes up memory wise, and if the players didnt play bravo they would only play on another server, meaning its using no memory and creating no general lag, and as for the fact of the server list there are alot of worse servers that should be taken down before bravo.

bravo is good i think they have good npcs most of the levels are great and the staff is ok, i think its fun and most of the npcs are origanal wich is awsome
