I just noticed when I was switching between forums today that there are Private boards located at the bottom. What is that (yes I know it'a a private forum) but is it new?

No, but they forgot to set it to mask the forums existence to the public.

There are at least two forums there... I guess it doesn't matter if you kow what they are called, since most can't access them.

The first one, as most of you probably know, is the Graal2001 LAT forum.

The other, which is the new one, is the Graal Core Staff forum. I'm not sure exactly what it's use is. I guess so that the core staff can communicate without needing to pass e-mails around all the time.

There may be more...

There's not anymore, that I can find, so I believe those are the only two.

Nah, they probably don't want to be plagued with a bunch of newbie threads like ,"STEFAN READ!!!" and so forth.
