Angry Annoying Aspects of Gameplay: Stefan Suck-ups

To all you suck-ups. Get a life. You can suck up to him when he implements a PKing system (where non-Pkers don't get hit), a bank, new hats without such a limited stock, new masks, a bomy pet store with cheaper bomys so that we can actually buy one before our account expires, and fix his daggone quest so that we don't get stuck.

How do you think Monica got her job and maintained it?...
There are alot of people in the world who suck up to ones with higher positions to gain power and control. There's nothing thats really going to change that, sorry to inform you.

Red face Jerom...

Suck-Ups are ***. They all agree to everything Stefan says like they're homeless and he's going to give them money or something. Yet he hasn't done enough to be sucked up to yet. He has disappointed me too much. And no, it's not too much to ask for a bank and a few mandatory items so that people can actually enjoy the game...

I dont want a bank for NewMain if thats what you're talking about.
That just adds to how much more people would PK if they didn't have to worry about losing thier money.
Not to mension PKs hanging around the bank areas for easy kills for easy money...
Although it's not neccisarily the items that make the game entertaining, it's the gameplay, how you play it, who you play it with, and what the game has to give to you.

Mandatory items? Don't be ridiculous, this is a game, not a colloege assignment.
Furthermore, I don't see how you see it that Stefan disappointed you. If you expect a lot of people you hardly know, of course you're going to be disappointed.

Why is it that I don't have any of those complaints.. I like the idea of limited stock in hats.. so they will be worth more, masks are being added, bomy's are supposed to be rare as well and about the bank and pking, you contradict yourself.. basically you want it to be easy so you dont have to do anything. Durr I can put all my money in the bank so I can go and pk, and I can get 10 bomy's and all the hats and a house and all the items in 3 days! Yay!

Think of it like this, if bomy's and hats were cheap and unlimited in supply, every single person would own 3 of each. It would get ridiculous.. you might as well complain about gralat not being under bushes too.. geez what a *****.

A bank? That would RUIN the point of playerhouses.
How could you be mad at Stefan about prices of bomy pets? They are only worth what people will pay.
Hats shold have a limited stock,if not,it would ruin the point of collecting hats.

that's all fine and dandy, but hats shouldn't be that limited...i mean, my account was having trouble the same time the new hats were released (account hackers, account reset that I didn't ask for, no possible way of getting that money back because te events team just sits on their ass all day, and god PKers! I can't PK anyone worth **** for PKing because they all are at 100 ap, and the rest have 0 gralat because there are too many PKers...)

I mean, god, I haven't been able to get a single hat because

1. I am human
2. My account got hacked and I was left with 0 gralat and no way of getting money
3. a month later my account got reset AGAIN!

I am sick of this, I may quit Graal2001...

We cannot really do something against people
hacking your computer, and just giving stuff 'back'
when someone says he has been hacked is not
really good because people already try to cheat
by saying that. We might add the possiblity to
specify an ip range like for RCs so that only
computers connecting from the right ip can use the
account, althought that might cause some problems too
(when people need the ip range changed) and will
not help AOL people.

About the stupid topic of this thread: it never helped
to 'suck-up'. It might help on some playerworlds
and may for some lower admins (police?) but
I never hired someone just because he said Graal
is nice

The reason graal is so good though is because you can log on at other computers and such. Maybe you should just post a warning on the news page not to download files for graal not hosted on this or give anyone (even graal staff) your password. More people are learning about how the "hacking" which I dont consider hacking because it's more of sending a sub7 or just asking for the password and the amount of people being tricked is going down.

I think it says the thing about password on
several places on the website, I still get
a lot of passwords though

The main problem about the hacking is that
many people start programs downloaded from
the internet without checking for viruses or using
firewalls to possibly avoid bigger damage caused
by bad programs

Yes,
However if players were more aware to the fact that the programs are mostly virus a lot of people wouldnt download them. Some players think there really "graal help" programs that make you walk to items and such.

Yea, I had over 80 people download Graal Chat that I made at www.babylonserver.com and I could have easily attached a virus or trojan to it and had 80 passwords to sell.
