First off, Hello forums this is my first post here in over a year. (Or around)

Ok on to business, I have been trying to get my stolen items returned for a very, very long time... but I am still having no luck with that yet.

Anyway, today a raffle was held and I thought I may be able to get lucky and gain something of value and work towards what was stolen....

this is what came of it

The first item was P2K's (Roughly worth 1.5mil )

I didn't win that round.

The next round was a MP5 (Worth a lot)

I didn't win that round

The next round was 100 burning gases ( roughly valued at about 2k )

I won that round

The next 2 rounds were more rare guns worth a lot, one of which is not even released yet...

I don't know rather to laugh at the fact I got lucky enough to win something, or to cry about the fact that what I won is worthless.

I swear to god, the luck I have is horrible.

Last post for awhile since BF3 finally got done installing, whoever -repped me, step up and be a man and leave your name, I am not complaining that badly about this, in fact I got more then 8 pms during the time at people laughing and saying I got the **** end of the stick.

I just wanted to share this story of my tragic luck with you guys. :/

I asked Alfonso the other day and he said he would announce the next one.
Plus, according to Seth, the raffle took place at around 1AM.. on a week day. (And he's behind EST time)

I "won" a AUG (unreleased), but I was given 150ec's because alfonzo didn't want to give me it. It's a shame too, because I probably would have never complained about a buff/nerf/gun again in the history of era if I got it.

Ha, that sucks.

I think I would of preferred the EC's to the AUG and gotten a nice lightsabre out of it though, because I remember him saying in there "You won't be able to drop / lend / sell this item" or something to that effect, but guess he decided just not to give one out yet.

raffles create so many problems cuz stupid ppl have the chance to win..duende won an rpg but didnt say :claimprize and it's 2 days he's complaining to staff lmao
auctions r way more fun and create no problems at all, idk y alf is doing all these raffles

Since their induction when he did an Mp5 as the finale prize, I've considered raffles a license to spawn.

I'm glad some of us work years to earn these items, when we could've just waited for Vimes or Alfonso's managements to get them for free.

I came back, and total noobs are rich now! it's insane! I'm pro-reset though, so, I'll just wait. But, I come back to see basicly trials running around with ACR's and TGs. (Everyone has a TG now... idunno why)

Yeah, there's this wonderful shop known as the Weapon's Rental Auction, here's a screen shot.

As of right now it's made 271k, what a success.

Odd, did the Era Administration MISS one of the points of a weapon rebalance?
Looks so.
Seeing as a part of the reason for such a massive rebalance was to alleviate the need for everyone having these Tier 3 weapons because one could compete with a lesser tier weapon.
In short, if there was no rebalance, this would've been the alternative (everyone uses the best guns).
However, since there is, this "raffle" or even weapon rental does more harm than good.

For instance, players will not continue to refer to these higher tier weapons, if these weapons become conventional, there will be an inclination to add newer weapons that surpass the conventional (as there always is). This would begin the entire cycle ALL over again... just like when the SG552 was released.

In short, these systems undo variety because everyone will feel inclined to use the same weapons (tier 3). This would make lesser tiers obsolete, and as-stated, make tier 3 the conventional or "the norm".

Tier 3 Weapons are NOT the norm, they're the limit, and should remain as so.
However, these new measures/additions are not supportive of that cause.

The weapon balancing solved all weapon problems, outside of Melee which, agreeably, wasn't high on the priority list as far as Era's major problems.

In short, the rebalancing makes "raffles" and rentals absolutely unnecessary.
The raffles and rentals will gradually undo the problems solved by the rebalancing.

They shouldn't co-exist, its just plain stupid.
