you can get Gold for free / 5 mins of filling out subs, so don't say it's because of not having gold.

in a spar, very little besides being level 110 (and BASIC gear) changes battle between players. you can get to level 110 in two hours of alchemy.

not denying that, it still takes proper work gathering 4000 rubies, a +2 cauldren, 1300 torches (takes at least 7 seconds to craft one), 1300 sulphur, thousands of water, the actual rare recipe that it takes, etc. And you'd just be gaining maximum default hp and the ability to write 107 scrolls.

Sadly it is frowned upon in the GK community to submit ideas or point out whats wrong with out:

1) Players who no longer play the server raging over "historic" content that is no longer of any use or have any real function to the server.

2) Staff Members raging at the fact that they have to work with other people that they do not really like.

The only situation that relates to this is Forest. You were one of the very few people who complained about it. I'm sure EVERY reasonable, active player on Graal Kingdom's is ready for change, wether big or small.

I just think key to life on Graal Kingdom's is very simple, I know the end-goal would be great to have hundreds of players on GK after iGK is released, but for now, all we really need is a few updates, actively hosted large events (which I am more than willing to host), and good publicity on it. I remember how many players the events that had advertisements on login would bring to GK.

Doesn't sound like two hours o.O? The gear alone required for a half-successful alchemy is UBER expensive since the economy is shared between about 5 players. Then the ingredients can take weeks of endless grinding to gather.

Unless of course... you're Chris Vimes and hack/modem tap into my house, through blockers to steal everything. Then have Tig loan you some uber gear for alchemy. But he has a clause for everything.

1. Farming sulphur for DoV takes too long.
2. Nobody EVER let's me join crypt with them.
3. All there is to do is idle in main trade until somebody buys your crap.
4. Last time I played, events were rarely hosted.
5. Nobody even uses dias anymore, its all about that EC.

there are tons of better games than graal nowadays. 10 years ago it was funnier to play graal kingdoms but time has passed and gk didn't get any innovation but the crypt

1. No it doesn't take to long. I have done it 3 times to accomplish 110. Working on my 4th once I find a + couldren.

2. I would do crypt with you o.o, you just never asked.

3. SMH, you can level grind for hours. You can PvP, you can role play. There are lots of things to do on Kingdoms. The problem is that most players don't enjoy those activities as much as new players.

4. I have seen many events, as a matter of a fact I have questioned why ET's were hosting multiple events in any given hour with less then 8 people online.

5. I use diamonds, o_o. EC can buy me nothing I do not have already (with few exceptions) It's kinda a perk to being RICH or having a family member who plays. Every time I quit I gave him my items and started over. Eventually we collected a retarded amount of items and near legend status.. LMAO

I agree that GK needs a bit more "content".. Currently I think the question system needs improved. Doing quests with a book in the pub is just not enough. We need a more zeldesque style questing. Maybe adding a few quests would help. Wether these be repeatable with prize's similar to doing HH or wether it be limited to once.

I have played GK since at least Dec, 2003 (when I founded Storm). I have reason to believe I started playing in late 2002, or early 2003. I am hoping that once graal goes F2P (I think it is suspose to be?) that more players will play graal. Can't say they will end up on GK. (Zodiac is hogging like 100 players)..

EC is more wanted than dias, mostly because of the new EC shop items. But even before the new ec shop, ec's were wanted.

To make a chance of obtaining a RoW, the best way imo is by collecting ec's.

well not that but if they actually make it good again it would let people buy gold ect instead of privite servers lol

That's not really true anymore. The MUDlib is still really annoying to work around, but it's a lot more flexible than it used to be. Even with access to the GServer or MUDlib code, he couldn't do a whole lot. The MUDlib needs to be completely redesigned and rewritten.

The issue is more of enthusiasm for me (Tig is just really busy last I heard from him). It's not fun scripting when you're forced to work with old scripts and implement everything by hacking on to existing systems (it's also not sustainable scripting).

I think this is one of the main problems with volunteer help. Making stuff is fun, but often times you get caught up in the boring stuff and grind to a halt (this happened on Era Dev when I was doing all the scripting as well).

I just want to see GK get active again.. Seriously everytime I login it's the same idlers and that's about it. Can't host events with that. Can't trade. Can't really do anything. Idk what that 'key' is to make GK more active again.. but we need to find it.. I know the easter event helped make GK hella active.. at least for a couple weeks.. I guess we just have to wait for F2P/iphone and see how it effects GKs playercount?
