Era Battle of the bands: July

~Battle of the Bands~

Attention everyone! Battle of the bands is on its way back to Era and wants you to start gathering the band back together! This event will take place on July 23, so don't be late!

This year of Battle of the bands will have new judges--
Judge #1 --Myself (Scoper)
Judge #2 --Mr. William Soul (Venom_fish)
Judge #3 --Zao Dracono (Bigmonster)
Judge #4 --MYSTERY JUDGE (i havent found a fourth yet. then, when i do, i'm just not gonna tell you guys who it is. yay!)

Good luck to all and remember to have some fun.

Go and create a band at unstick me (or somewhere else) for free!
You can have up to 3 members in your band!

Each band will take a turn playing whatever song they want (you have three weeks to prepare, starting now. No excuses, practice!)

The prize is yet to be determined, but I'm thinking an instrument for each person and some ECs, and all that. Hurray ECs~

Additional info:
I'll be opening up a tinychat during the battle of the bands, so people can chill and talk together about it all.
Don't ask to be the mystery judge! i'll promptly laugh and tell you no.

The time of day it starts has yet to be determined, but will be here later, so keep checking the forums for updates.

It hasn't been done in more than 5 months, i think keeping the same name will be alright.

@JKL: sometimes, secrets are meant for your betterment, not to shut you out from information. this is one of those times.

Some of the judges have never even played an instrument on Era for more than 2-3 times.

I think it does, they should also have some knowledge involving music. And by music I mean all kinds of genres, not only RnB and Pop.

By typing all I mean most genres, of course everyone dislike some songs, but disliking a song because of the genre is stupid.

we're not basing judgement off of how well we like the song. We judge solely based off of how well it is played.

at any rate, the judges have already been chosen, so you can all stop runnin around volunteering.

for those of you wondering about BoTB, here's the situation.
1. All of the scripts are shot to hell, and all our cool scripters (Alf :<) are gone. Meaning, we're working on fixing the system, but it's..slow going.
2.NONE OF THE JUDGES ARE ON. I obviously picked some stale people, eh? Except Zao. He's always on time.
3. Players haven't had time, due to the broken systems, to create a band.

As such.. we'll be pushing it back a week.
I'll have exact times up and such tonight."

What scripts are broken?

Unless Alfonso touched something, none of the Comic Club scripts are "shot to hell".

it wil lag like hell then it crash era

alf said its the hosting server but i beg a difference not every night almost
plus gs1 mix with gs2 on the server i think u guys should improve in making it all gs2 and no more gs1

@Chris, I should have specified. The scripts seem fine, but the level had an addweapon function that added weapons to everyone that wasnt zao or i >.>. We fixed that up, sooo one problem solved.

we didnt take it out, we just altered it to the correct accounts, and not the judges from the first one.
