This may come as a surprise to many as not only is this a fairly big update but it's separate from our normal questing plans, but over the last 5 days the Trading Card Game has been rescripted completely from scratch.
A preview video can be seen here:
(although there has been several cosmetic changes since this video was made)
The location of the Card House is where Fuitad's mansion was originally, which is to the left of the main bridge or slightly north of Sister Gertrudes/Unstick me.
Simply talk to Nightmareangel to receive both the item to begin playing aswell as the manual describing how to play the game.
While the game is played in exactly the same way as its previous release, most of the differences are visual, the biggest change however is that the game can be played/watched anywhere minus PK/Spar/Team Event levels, simply by firing the weapon infront of other players that have fired it, similarly to how high five works, players will remain paused and unable to be hit during this.
While the server itself is Under Construction however it is only the game itself that has been released, deck building/card trading has had some preparation but will not be implemented until a later period of time, inwhich we are also hopeful of cards being obtained in quests, aswell as it being possible to design your own personal cards in game, in the mean time players are able to use a pre-set deck.
The set up is ugly and odd. Why isn't your hand at the bottom, where it should be? Why do you sacrifice so much screen area to show the opponent's hand rather than only showing the top/bottom halves of their cards (which would be at the top of the screen)? The player's hand in card games that take place on screen is always best situated at the bottom of the screen, this way it's easier to look at without taking your eyes off the rest of the gameplay. The opponent's hand on the other hand is fairly unimportant, so it should be low priority, only being visible enough to show how many cards they have and maybe enough of the card to identify it if you for some reason are able to flip it.
The transparency of "the board" could not only cause distractions (other player's trying to talk to you, I know I'm unable to ignore that sort of thing) but also shows a missed opportunity to create table images for display under the playing field.
It's cute that you try to incorporate the classic gui sprites, but number display for things like health in magic is just tacky. A bar (or even actual hearts for health) would not only be more cosmetically pleasing, but would make the game itself identify as Graal related much better than just "☯: 10/10".

tl;dr, you drew a card, but dropped the ball
This is actually based on the old layout, and while it does take up quite a bit of space cutting it in half would require a separate layout for when just watching the game.
The transparent background iirc was specifically intended for you to possibly see others that might join the game as a watcher, I could however disable the display of chat during the game.
A bar may look better, but I think it's important to show the specific number in a game where one Card or HP/MP point can make a difference, what if it were turned into a bar that displayed the current number on top of it?
This update is great, keep them coming You can really tell that a lot of effort went into this, and effort is something kinda absent from Graal these days. (Needless to say, it definitely paid off) Congrats! Keep up the great updates!
Background chat is now disabled, it is however now possible for all of those watching/playing a particular game to talk to eachother within the toall box, just by talking as if by normal with the chat bar.
Particular cards now have a related sound played when they are placed such as extra.wav with gelat cards, crush.wav with bush card, jump.wav with frog card etc.
When a card disappears after 6 turns it is now fading out rather than disappearing instantly.
