Yep, logged on with v6 and it told me I'm using an out of date beta client. So, I downloaded the update and now this same thing is happening to me. Back to v5... ewww :'(

Probably some other server replaced the GANI? My bug was completely unrelated; not sure if it can even be done in GScript.

It happened as soon as I entered the overworld on GK. Froze up the client as well.

Haven't looked into this at all... but wow, that is odd. It's as if GraalControl is getting spun or something like that. Weird.

Messing with GUIContainer's rotation produces similar results.

Temp fix: Delete sprite 22 in the gani.

It looks like GK had too much beer.

Stefan found the problem to be in the torch script too, because the gani never Had showcharacter(), which caused it to spin.
