Delteria Mount GFX Contest:


1st Place: 4 Months Gold + Delteria VIP Access
2nd Place: 1 Months Gold + Delteria VIP Access
3rd Place: Delteria VIP Access


Entry Period:
December 5, 2010 - December 19, 2010 (submissions are due by 11:59pm EST Dec. 19th).

Simple Rules For Contestants:
- NO Recolors and/or Edits of current mounts.
- FULL sprite-sheet must be submitted in a finished state.
- Style must match or closely approximate current mounts' art style.


The Choosing Process:
After the due-by date has expired we will narrow the list down to those we feel are most
usable on Delteria and compose a post highlighting those participants' entries. The community
as a whole will then have the ability to vote (via poll) on which they believe is the best entry. The
voting period will last three (3) days after which the winners will be crowned.

Template Examples:



The Brown horse was denied because its an exact recolor of the black horse. But the White horse was accepted because its not just a recolor. This is a "close as it gets" type of recolor.

Not really, the horse is not always supposed to be represented by standing with a perfectly symmetrical body. It's not a statue, so it looks fine

Still wrong, I'm sure you can see why. If the wings are down on the side, why are we seeing some of the bottom of the wing behind the horse? If it's on the side of the horse we shouldn't really be seeing any of the wing. Well, we'd probably be seeing the TOP of the wing(the "arm"), but not the bottom.

Still looks fine to me. Even if it could look a bit wrong/use some slight fixes, it's not a big deal.
I'm sure you'd not complain about it if he had done the other sprites.

I could list about a hundred of MONUMENTAL styling/perspective/graphic design error from hundred games.
Really, "fixing" this one little thing won't change my opinion about how godly I think this death horse is.
