Why aren't people doing any work now-a-days? Everyone just merches to make all their money. The people with very high mining levels (Danny, Suki, Catbert(Banned)) either don't play anymore or just don't mine anymore. I'm like the only power miner there is left in Era. If everyone mined and merched at the same time, there would be a lot more money in Era's economy. So come on you guys, go back to work and stop standing around.

Does standing around merching not get boring too? If both were combined it would make people a lot of money is what I'm saying. Especially mining. Once you start making mining levels you start banking really fast.

I see heaps of people still working. Miners all over the place, diggers at the beach (not as many though because of beach PKers), and even just today I saw 2 guys trash picking lol! Even the dead ones seem alive still

Dang....I thought trash picking would've died off by now. SP makes people a whole lot more money than trash picking does.

trash picking is one of the lowest paying jobs because it's essentially luck based and only a certain amount of trash is spawned each hour.

if the odds at the casino were slightly better it'd probably be one of the most fun ways to make money.
Same goes for the shooting range.

I don't ever really see people doing the lumberjack job anymore either. I tried it out and it was fairly terrible.

I started mining mad, and owning the shooting range w/ flak after zeus removed all my money for no reason. (He said I was someone else or something irdk) I easily broke highscores in the shooting range using flak because it hit half of the targets in 1 shot and made 100$+ per round. And I just watched movies or youtube videos in a small corner screen while I mined. I gave it a purpose, working for Reece at GunPoint to pay him back for all he had helped me with and it was less boring having people hang around the mines too .

Then I got banned and reset.

I tried to macro mining but it was too hard to get it to work in TNT caves because all the movement and random %'s, if it skipped one step of the program it would fk up the whole thing.

Wall mining was ez but slow as fk, so I actually sat here and mined for hours believe it or not. Compared to the time I macroed 300 handgun ammo, seriously just making up things to ban for nowadays.

Flower Picking/Bouquets - is ok
Mining - is ok, maybe needs to be toned back a bit in exchange for making drills not take batteries again (if they even still take them, haven't mined for a while because batteries were so annoying).
Postal Delivering - sucks, needs to pay like $15 per letter and ability to carry more (3?) letters at a time.
Car Missions - suck, need to pay more (almost triple) and a tank of fuel needs to last a lot longer.
Trash Picking - sucks, trash needs to spawn more consistently throughout the hour and needs to actually build up a lot more if nobody is picking trash.
Shell Digging - is okay, I'd like to see another shovel added that lasts a lot longer and is either a reward for digging 5000 shells or costs a bunch more to repair.
Digging (on grass) - sucks, should have a higher chance of digging up money, a random chance to dig up ammo boxes and maybe even minerals.
Pizza Making - is okay, maybe the level could use some work to space things out a bit more and the pizza holder thing could be gotten rid of completely.
Casino - sucks, needs odds tweaked a bit so that losing is less common and $5 and $10 wins are more common for steady gains in line with other jobs (about $40 a minute).
Shooting Range - sucks, targets need to be a bit more responsive to hits from single bullets, targets further from center of level should last slightly longer instead of the same short random time, and payout needs to be slightly higher.
Lumberjacking - sucks, needs to be more accessible, log sawing needs to be refined and payout needs to be higher.

Working at a job is the most low paying but needs the most work. since you get (average) 2 dollars a stock, you average around 2000 stocks a week, which is only 4k, and you can make 4k easily by buying workers pot and shoveling for 2 hours. it also takes longer to make one stock (2 Dollars) then it is to shovel 2-3 shells ($10+)

I agree with you. I feel like the time spent stocking could be spent mining and the player would make more money.

but working really isnt bad at all with a workers potion, shells made me almost 100k in 3 days

Merchanting is better since you can do other stuff while massing out your buy/sell list. Mining is boring as **** and slow money.

Get a high mining level and see if its still slow money. I can make like 10k an hour mining.

10 hours a day mining (if you can find the time for it, which I can't)for 30 days (not counting processing)= 3 million a month

Yah, have fun mining 10 hours a day. It's boring enough after 10 minutes.

Or you could take 5 minutes a day to make a trade and by the end of the month make 300-500k? WHILE you actually do stuff on Era.. Yah I'd go with that.

That's 159,999 too many.

Over 4 years I only got level 11, which was like 6k rocks total, and 90% of that was with help from Reece, Cecil, Danny, Roguebabe, or someone else. I even remember mining the first few levels as a *Temp* in BB mines with Sales, Sia, MistyWhite, Nub, and some others to give a time frame here.

It's beyond boring, even while watching a movie, and people ask "Why'd you macro."

Well Reece quit a lot and had himself reset like 3 times (every time he regret it and got his mining level put back lol).

He had level 30 mining for over a year, he really didn't start caring until Worker Potions came out and he got GP.

So a year of constant mining seems about right, for level 60.

and 3 years mining is like having 10 level 70 accounts on WoW..
