Well that is why there are games like Mass Effect, Fallout, or Oblivion that take a long long time to beat, whereas you could play battlefield or bad company and be done with the story in a few hours.

I think some guns should be easy to maintain (so players like you and i can keep busy) and there also needs to be harder to get guns (for those who want to work for them). Basically like how it is now, but millions of dollars for a gun is to out of proportion

It seems like over the past few years, I'm the only person who had a significant amount of power (I was an Administrator at one point) that wanted to focus on making the game fun rather than worrying too much about the economy and keeping a bunch of secrets on a dev server.

I wanted to get rid of the tedious money making process and allow players to jump right into the game and enjoy it. It was a different approach to things, but after numerous failed attempts by managers in the past, it was time something new had to be done.

It's a shame I never got my chance. HoudiniMan didn't think I deserved it. Now look where Era is. Another manager, another plan, and more false hope that things will change. Darn.

If you hadn't noticed, Era Dev is gone (might have run out of time or something).

Don't quote me on it, but after speaking with kinetaro it sounds like everything Chris did is going to be scrapped and they're doing a complete "overhaul". Maybe someone who's currently staff can correct me, though.

lol, if this is actually the plan then I don't see anything getting done for another few years. There's really no one on that staff list who has proven themselves capable of following through with anything beyond a day (that probably took weeks) project.

Who's gonna pay to get the Dev back? If I was manager I sure wouldn't wanna have to pay 70 usd for that. I made that mistake already :S
