Precisely why it was COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THE QUOTE AND DISCUSSION THAT I WAS HAVING.

I'm agreeing with the "others" as well. We can whatever we want, despite (or even in spite) of what any single member of the GDT thinks the objective of the group is. One of the main goals of the GDT is to help struggling servers. We don't need to completely develop their servers, but I think the 'slave laborer' thing might get thrown around a little too easily.

Scripters should help to provide high quality reference material both in the form of raw reference tables and in prose. Tutorials are also good. Graphic artists and levellers can also contribute tutorials which show how to create specific effects and reduce errors.
- Helping those who need it. That means being in the front line when people need your help. You have been given a Global Development Team tag, please use it when you are able to. We've also set up the IRC channel on Freenode; your participation would be nice.
- Helping with server projects. Sometimes staff from a server may call upon you for advice or even for a helping hand. If you feel a requested project is reasonable, feel free to participate. If you don't feel it's reasonable for you, suggest people who may be interested, GDT members or otherwise. The important thing is to not do too much though; the GDT are not slave labourers and shouldn't be taken for granted.

So far, just to reiterate, Delteria, Zone, and N-Pulse have been specifically mentioned. In Delteria's case, it sounds more like an outreach for full development, so that may be more of individual GDT members actually becoming Delteria staff. I don't know about Zone and N-Pulse; not much has been said. Though, some of us don't have Gold accounts, which should be taken into consideration when we discuss the GDT helping UC/Gold servers.
