EA - 66 (1st GFX Attempt)

So I've decided to try doing GFX () but as you see, it didn't work out so well for me. I'd like to get some feedback for improvements please. Criticisms? Suggestions? Pointers? ?

IMO it looks pretty ok, like the shape. Shading is not bad.
However, it lacks one thing, you've divided the gun into several areas in your lineart, which is cool. But you all shaded them as if they were just plain round bulbs, they lack texture.

Also, you made guns. So it's hard to be nice.

But it isn't bad looking. I guess it's hard to make guns look anything but plain.

It looks more than decent and applying a texture on guns is something hard to figure out when you start.

I don't have any suggestion to make since I never made any gun myself, too bad.

So your saying some areas should be darker to give in multiple levels? I'm not familiar with the whole texture thing quit yet.

I didn't really have any specific direction I wanted my gun to go to... I just kindof made it as I went. Should I make it more complicated? Shade it with more colours...?

No, that would be increasing the feel of volume,
what i mean is,
a gun is never 100% smooth, there's edges, knobs, damage. Therefore your shading also shouldnt be 100% smooth.
I thought it would help a bit if i showed an edit of what i mean. I hope you don't mind.
