Small Updates: Snowmen, Kills & Deaths, Trade Tables

A few updates have been applied to Graal Kingdoms today and recently.

Kills and deaths are now displayed in your profile in replace of Spellpoints and Hitpoints. Kills and deaths are only affected by player-to-player combat.
Snowmen disappear after 24 hours of being completed.
Trade tables have been updated; you can now double click an item placed on the trade table to pick it back up so you don't have to close and reopen a table.

i'd rather see HP and Mana of other people.

They're still there, it just shows max hp/sp instead of current amounts.

Good updates, 1 thing noobs should keep an eye open for is people trying to abuse the trade tables by looting an object and tricking someone into accepting something that isnt no longer there

Could be an issue but since the time-delay of trades being completed after both players accept, you'd have to be retarded to accept and then watch as you trade your item for nothing.

The only major problem i noticed at first glance with the trade table, was that you could take items off the table, while other player is accepted, and it doesn't end his accept. -

Well, since we can only log into one account at once, hopefully that wont happen.

Its pretty evident though, if you see somone your owning daily with incredible k/d ratio, you know they didnt earn that.

Anyone with High KDR is only going to attract me and other pvpers to kill them. It will be evident whether they earned it or lamed it since they'll either get owned or put up a good fight. The community is pretty aware of those who'll have a high ratio and those who won't. Example, Oasa is unlikely to have a high ratio whereas Craigus is likely.

That only prevents you from using two accounts at once on the same machine. If you use a PC and a Laptop you can still do it.

Already thought of that, and even though you can't log on to GK from the same computer at the same time, kills/deaths also don't count if the two players engaged in the fight are from the same IP.

I'm looking into fixing the poison kill/death problem, but not sure if it will be possible.

But if you cant get kills/deaths from the same ip that means you cant get kills or deaths from your brother or any1 whos playing at your house

I don't know if it was ment to be like this or what, but you get kills/deaths in the spar arenas also. I would think this is big for abuse. ;0

I see, it's not a big worry, poison deaths aren't too common. The magic kill/death is a more pressing issue, the two may be closely linked.

Spar event's will also be risky, but i guess the winner will get a bigger prize

Yeah, but i dont see anyone mid-leveled will be going to spars again. Honestly, if i was mid leveled, knowing 90% chance im going to lose, why even participate?

Itll be two guys with 70 + phys fighting the 6 newbs that wanted an easy warp off of trial island.

Skill > Level + Equipts.
Not saying that Equipts and level don't help or aren't a factor, but some basic gear and good skill = win. Storm still rocks people as a trial.

Perhaps instead of "Ignore" we should have a "Hide Message" button. Clicking the "Hide Message" button could conceal most of the display above the player's viewing area, with only a small bar showing. That way you can open it again if you mess up or change your mind.

Though you shouldn't judge. The majority of your 121 kills were from the same method. Only mine were against your kingdom, and you and storm could have prevented it from happening, had you not been chicken. Don't throw your unprepared tadpoles into core so lightly.

Okay Leon, you just make yourself look worse and worse. Me and Storm had the decency to let up after we realized laming a 'newbie' was wrong. We also weren't preaching about people 'earning' their kills, which makes you, specifically, look like a ****ing idiot.

Laming does suck, it still sucks, but why should i stay squeaky clean after my main competition lames 80 in 1 night, don't care about these kills/deaths they're a piece of crap. Good mages like Dustin can't record ANY kills, while warriors can lame plenty. It's a system i suggested but hasn't been governed properly. I see no reason to take it seriously anymore. Quantity is irrelevant, you lamed. I lamed. About 'earning' I still run about and pk, 'earning' kills. And in the past, i lamed like there was no tommorow. I admit this k/d system got me preaching for 'earned' kills. But i don't rate this system anymore, it's demoralized mages incredibly, encouraged people to not fight for fun anymore & doesn't truely represent anything, it's just like any old classic server k/d ratio, simply shows how much you kill. It doesn't judge kills or deaths, simply records them.

I hope all this tension finally gets you fish to war with us and quit trash talking only to be silent & decline the notion of a war.
