Grabbing a dbnpc array

Ok, I've tried using

PHP Code:

params[1][0] 


many, many times and its always worked fine, until now.
a dbnpc has values 1,2,3,4,5 and if i put

PHP Code:

params[1][0] 


it pulls the entire thing on one line. Is there a different way to do this?

Ok, new question, to go along with the old one.

I'm trying to make a npc chat, where an array is stored, either in the level npc, or dbnpc, then shown up in the gui from the wnpc. Ive found this quite difficult to figure out how to do correctly, and there will be different and many npc's you can talk to throughout the server. Any direction on how to start and complete this please?

What info are you pulling?
To do that it's probably best to have a "startChat" or "giveChat" function in a class, join those NPCs, and send the info from the level NPC to the player in a weapon.
