New gun shop!

Tomorrow (10/24/2009) at 1:00pm EST we will be opening a new weapon shop featuring five new weapons!

Initially there will be 10 of each stocked, but they restock automatically overtime.

Prices range from 4k to 40k, so hopefully this will provide more of a variety for those who aren't millionaires. Happy spending!

This shop will also be testing out the "pawn shop" concept where players will be able to resell their weapons back to the shop for a little less. Hopefully this will keep prices a little more stable.

There are only one or two people that actually have $1m, but I don't think it will be a problem.

thing is, what if the same person buy all the 10 from one? that a bit lame...
would be better to put a script so u can get only one from the first batch and more on the others.

Will be opening the shop in 30 minutes. It's located above the church.

2 Assault rifles, and 3 handguns will be sold. For more information you'll have to wait and see

It restocks 1 of each gun as often as the unstick me shop stocks its weapons (every 16 hours i think?)...but will only have a max of 15 at any given time. I'm trying to make sure that the weapons are available to everyone, but I don't want a mass amount of them pouring in right at release, either.

Ivory Beretta's single fire is slower than MK23s yet dual fire is slower than dual handguns, wtf!?

Don't think so, and they belong to Era (they've been used on the server before as a gang weapon).

I didn't realize something with the Ivory beretta (there's two different weapon scripts), and I believe I made a mistake when changing the stats. I'll fix them later.

hey sales, why sg556 only hit 18dmg? for that price i was expecting something a lil better, colt is only 7500 but hit 33 dmg with faster speed than taurus

No and no.

He had a pair of "berettas" that he got off an account, the berettas are the same as the cougars that reck had and were supposed to be deleted. Staff released and nerfed the berettas it doesn't need his permission at all

I'm glad they released the gang weps, I suggested this at one time although I doubt they remember

I would! then i could sell them for a couple thousand more and make a profit, unless the respawn rate for the guns is pretty fast. Most people would want to buy the "cool" new guns

I traded a colt6 (7.5k) and a Beretta (4k) for Axe..

Now the prices on those new guns are dropping fast, because they restock everyday.

That's true, but they have a maximum price (the shop-price) atleast.

What that guy was refering to about the "Ivory Beretas" (first one) is that DarkHero already had a pair that were worth alot, you then re-released them and droped the price by like.. 10mil?
The ivory berettas hes infact talking about are the Berretas.

The berettas I had were legit and I got them from a pre-2007 player. They were never supposed to be deleted as they got passed by Sales himself and then he decided to change his mind and say they weren't passed? Hypocritical much?

The most potent of the new items are:

Baretta (Dual) 18 Damage
Excellent trainer weapon for beginner, its ability matches its price, if I were starting, I'd begin with them before working up to Mk23s. They are useful in spars, wouldn't recommend them against any weapon stronger than 25 Damage, then you'd have to pull some Wil Soul stunts to excell. Adequate fire-rate, makes timing a necessity.
Overall, great starter item.

Colt6 (33 Damage)

I don't know its price, nor have used it personally... but from my standpoint, its a useful items in raids... if you have backup. If you're newly a gang member, and not yet a "power-player", I'd suggest equipping yourself with this, making sure your gang is the type to raid with large numbers, do not use this in a gang that requires optimum potency from each member, you'd then have a problem. All in all, I'd say its worth a good 8-10,000$.

The G36C is a good weapon, there's not much else to it. I think it trumps the G36K, personally... its burst-fire makes a hella difference, if used correctly. I'd say don't purchase this until you have a good idea of how to fight. That way you can use it to its fullest potential, otherwise you'd be wasting your time/money.

New Guys, Holla at me if you need to know which gun would suit you.

If all of era's weapons were able to be sold to the pawn shop, it would be a way to control the prices in the market.

All it would do is establish a minimum price. Nobody would ever sell the gun for less than they could pawn it for.
The problem with Era is that gun prices are massively inflated, so we need a maximum, not a minimum.

or, what I suggested was that players should just be able to make and buy their own guns. it would be a lot cleaner than having a shop where the gun's stock was 3957694. but yeah, as soon as the gun is out of stock, that's when players will try to be slick and start selling it for profit.

The maximum would be the price that you can purchase them for (if we sold them in shops as well)
