RC lagout issue

Not 100[percent] sure this goes here, but i'll give it a shot.

Anyways, one of my folders that I have in my graphical RC has numerous files that I need deleted. The problem is, the amount of files causes my RC to lag out and disconnect me whenever I attempt to open the filebrowser (nothing loads, and even if I close it, it will proceed to lag out and d/c me shortly after.)

I'm wondering if there's a fix, a solution, or a workaround to the lag issue. And if possible, a /command that will allow me to delete the folder and it's contents without the need to open the filebrowser to do so.

A workaround, yes. Change your folder rights of this particular folder to something like this:
PHP Code:
rw path/to/folder/a*.*
This will only show the files beginning with the letter "a". After you got the files deleted, go on with b, c, and so on.

Or just use vowels, those usually work
