Community Names

All RC commands should accept a community name rather than an account.

It's really annoying when you're trying to find something, and you end up loading empty attributes, then having to use /global communityname to find their account, then finally opening their attributes.

It should be an easy fix (not requiring updates to RC).

I agree. It can get somewhat tricky working with both account and community names. The whole new system shouldn't have been introduced before everything was converted.
One of my more urgent requests here: add community name support for local guilds (the .txt file ones).

to this day I still don't understand what they were thinking when they thought of this account system. the closest I've got to an actual reason was that it "takes the stress off of choosing an account name while registering" from Houdini.

That is the actual reason. And it's retarded imho.

There was no effort made to ensure that all parts of Graal can support the new community name stuff. Considering how Stefan was going to make this change without asking what anybody thought about it, he should have at least introduced the communityname variables into GScript ahead of time and simply had them reflect the account, giving scripters the opportunity to update scripts or anything to work with community names.

Also, every other MMO has you choose an account name at the beginning, and that is not going to change. As far as I'm concerned, Graal's attempt to be different has only caused problems.
