parking spaces: why is there like a shortage of outside parking spots? the only place i can actually find a parking spot is in the parking building. moar plz

a lot of them were bought by older players that don't play anymore, isn't very fair to current players who want to buy an apartment.

and cars, why is it SO hard to drive in a straight line? oh, and the gas goes extremely fast.

library: purpose being.....?

chinese themed buildings all around: refer to "library" section

comic club: would be nice if it was actually used.

lockers: lockers are always filled, not very fair to people who want to buy a locker.

houses: inactive players that own houses shouldn't be able to keep their houses. once again, if you're not going to use it, i'm sure that someone that presently plays would gladly use it.

club redfox: purpose being....?

snow resort: not even used, and un-usable.

regency dinner theatre: tickets are always sold out, and i'm sure that the tickets weren't even used.

playerowned buisnesses: whatever happened to them?

event stadium: ...purpose?

cars once again: why is it that whenever you bump into ANYTHING, flames shoot from nowheres?

hedgehogs: why is there hedgehogs everywhere?

mission building: the missions aren't even missions.. they're just like "go pick up this person and drive them somewhere". more like a taxi service. speaking of taxi service, why isn't there a player started one?



sorry about the name of the thread, it started out with estate building being annoying, and then turned into "some of the annoyances of era"

keep in mind this is just a few, if era was actually fixed up, playercount would go through the roof.

Any players that have a business (Radio Station, Gang, etc) should have bills. Monthly fees or something for the building that they leased on. Unless they buy the building for x amount of cash. You know get money out of the economy.

Sucks, I have a radio and i dont even have a safe to receive tip's etc from players. I can't even give my DJ's a little pay because i dont make any money with it, Then i also can't afford a damn fee.

Just stating a few examples of how they can utilize a real estate system that can help get some money out of the economy. A lot of things need to be reorganized, revised, etc. in order for the economy to become stable, but until than. No matter what they focus on, it won't really help. Everything needs to be looked at, and revised so they can properly work together. You know, work out the flaws, and whatnot. (Infrastructure)

I agree. apartments need to have rent, this way the apartment can be used by active players. the rent doesn't need to be big, just enough to make owners pay some sort of fee every week to keep it. houses should remain the same though.

this is different. you can buy a house but you rent an apartment. I think houses should run differently than apartments.

The point is that they're both used for absolutely nothing. If I'm thinking of the same Asian buildings she's thinking of, it's probably the old Terisu base. Perhaps turn it into a "fun minigame" where people can have katana fights inside of it. I'm sure everyone would love it. Like paintball for Samurais

people are going to complain about the number of lockers no matter what unless 1 can be supplied to every player. adding more is going to help but people will still complain, lol.

there's a lot of other things that don't make sense on era, other servers, and graal in general, so fire coming out of a car shouldn't be made a big deal.

pinecones have been around era for a long time. nobody on the staff team now went out of their way to make it.

subways take too long. by the time you get to a station and wait for the train to come, then wait to arrive, you could have reached your destination already.

same with cars. going out of your way to the parking garage to get your car to go somewhere is a waste of time, and you can walk.

same with a taxi business. why call and wait for a taxi when you could be on your way already? it's faster.

skateboards are the only thing that makes sense because it's in your inventory.

every server has its own collection of "useless" stuff that was probably used at some point, used ocassionally, or not at all...

also, about lockers -- there's more than 30 but the problem is that there's no limit on the amount of time you can buy (or it's just really high). I've seen people with over 200 days on their locker, so good luck getting that one.

I think era screwed its self with how little the gmap is. It would have been cool if there was a ghetto area, a suburban area, urban area, etc... I mean there is SR which could be considered a neighborhood but it would have nice to see more islands, and mroe space to wonder around.

If they had mroe space, they maybe a taxi service would be used. Or helicopters (like there use to be) would be mroe effective. With a bigger gmap, alot more stuff i think would hve been possible, including much cooler buildings/sky scrapers

That's simply, because of the current configuration/implementation of Era's stores/gangs, etc are at. If you would take a look at it right now; The hospital is like a few minutes away, gang bases are strategically pinpointed very close to each other leading them to be prone to constant raids, stores, casinos, and mines are a few minutes away from unstick me. Basically the current map is in a lazy/unorganized/illogical way. That is why Southridge is never fully utilized, or elsewhere proximity to unstick me.

If they would make a bigger map, and have a good locations for stores, unstick me, gang bases, hospital, etc. Than players would demand for faster transportation which leads to more work in order to get money to acquire a car, ride the train, etc. It would also give gangs some time to recover from raids, and defend themselves the next time around. Era simply needs a bigger map for interactive, and better gameplay reasons. Just think about it.

SR has a ammo store, a hospital, restaurants, houses, and a few places to grind money. I don't see what else it's missing other than gang/party bases. Players are just too accustomed to "unstick me"s safety zones.

That might be true, because main island is where unstick me is at. Jobs at Southridge are the exact same thing with the exact same levels (design-wise). There needs to be other kinds of unique jobs, and also Southridge is an island with houses that players use for item storage. If a new, and bigger map was to be implemented with a evenly spread out shops, gang bases, jobs, etc. with each community (areas) having a unique thing for it. (Unique job, etc).

If you look at it currently everything is not working along together with other things. Anyways, I'm not contradicting with you completely, because I agree with you about players having to be accustomed to the main island. That's, because most of the things are at main island.

Staff have attempted to make SR more useful but failed (i.e. when it had a gang base, and was barely ever raided).

Point being -- players will always stay in the main part of town, no matter what you do. If you want to utilize every corner of the map, it'd be best to attempt to balance everything so that no area in particular is favored

Last time I logged on, I was lagging like hell just because of a noob spawning tons of pinecones in a circle over players.

I guess I just wanted to see how it changed, but guess what, this is one more reason to never come back.

Cars used to kill a player instantly whenever running them over...the killing was disabled because it was lame, but I believe the fire is just leftover from when cars were deadly weapons.

You should be able to pick what hospital you want to spawn at. Maybe some people would pick the SR one if there was mroe to do down there, and then there would be people in the north and south

It's even lamer now because when you run into someone you do more damage to yourself than the idiot in the street. What the hell is that?
